A: Hi Josh, Thank you for you question. We use pine LVL (laminated veneer lumber) on our EZ Fold N Go Tower. LVL offers superior strength, straightness, and consistency compared to traditional solid wood. We test all of our products to hold up to 3 times the max weight (3 x 75 = 225 lbs) that we put on our packaging which, according to government standards is the correct way to make a claim. Unfortunately, we don't currently offer an anti-slip mat for this particular Learning Tower. I hope this answers all of your question. Regards,
