Description

A fast-absorbing, non-greasy sunscreen that actually feels good on your skin. This hydrating lotion sinks in quickly, never feels sticky or heavy, and has a fresh scent that doesn’t overwhelm. Water and sweat resistant for 80 minutes, it stays put through workouts, pool time, and long days outside. You get broad spectrum protection against UVA/UVB rays plus added defense from infrared radiation, so you’re completely covered for any sun exposure.

Uses

Uses Helps prevent sunbum, If used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Directions

Directions Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure, Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours, Children under 6 months: ask a doctor, Sun Protection Measures Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.-2 p.m, wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

  • A: Hi Chuck, There is no definitive standard for this claim. However, we follow Hawaii’s state guidelines meaning we don't formulate with octinoxate or oxybenzone. We have never used oxybenzone and as of 2020, we have removed octinoxate from all of our formulas!

I wanted to make sure the products I’m applying are safe. A lot have harmful chemicals that can reach your intestinal organs. This product was rated well for healthiness on EWG website. For safe to use. It wasn’t greasy or have a white hue. I will continue to use and purchase this product.

    A sports day favorite!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Play is a very versatile sunscreen. In a pinch I've used it on my face and it was just a nice as Supergoop facial sunscreens. I have fair, sensitive skin and it's light and effective, even being in the full sun at sports events for hours. Play doesn't give me the smothered feeling that other brands do.

    Works Great

    This is my daily sunscreen. I apply every morning before I leave the house on my arms and neck (I use Every. Single. Face. Moisturizer/SPF 50 in the morning for my face) and then apply throughout the day before going outside. My favorite part is that it is not heavy, it doesn't smell like I should be at a beach cabana and is great for daily use but also during vacations (at the lake, beach, etc)
