I'm not sure what or is, cause they aren't wet or clammy but the texture of the powder makes it feel that way and in my work boots it's extremely uncomfortable and it replicates the feeling I'm trying to avoid by using powder.

Often I am in the blistering Arizona heat repairing the A-10C Thunderbolt II. When I say that my feet take a lot of pounding, I don't kid around. With that kind of wear and tear, sometimes your feet start to grow a little fungal rainforest. I've had my share of that experience at least a few times over the years. When I say that this powder works, I mean it. It passed the test. It's like napalm to the fungal fiends. It may not always be pretty, but it does the job and does it well. He used the Desenex foot powder and after a couple of days of using the powder he noticed a difference. His feet were dry and they no longer smelled bad. He said the first time he used it he noticed a significant decrease in itching after about 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this product.
