  • A: Hi there, Thanks so much for your question. For the best fit, we recommend a 5 inch thick mattress, however, you can go up to an 6 inch thick mattress.

Excellent bed for a growing tween girl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11-year-old daughter and I were able to assemble this bed with no problems (although we did need my husband and teenage son to lift the upper bed into place). The wood is very heavy and sturdy. She loves her new bed and was very excited to have two friends for a sleepover last Friday - they each had their own comfy bed! I like that there is more space between the bottom and top bunk than in many bunk beds we looked at. The bottom doesn't feel claustrophobic at all!

Worst bed ever after 2 years the bed becomes so worn the boards are cheaply made… they start breaking apart. It looks nice but for a full size bed I expected the boards to be more sturdy

LOVE! My 2.5 year old is so excited for her new bed to share with her baby sister. The top bunk will be unused for a few more years but we'll be using it for family when they stay the night. Trundle pulls out smoothly!

Perfect!

I was looking to upgrade my kids space in our vacation home and this was perfect! I wanted a heavy duty bed that could hold an adult comfortably if needed. Tons of space that cousins have a spot when visiting too. My husband assembled it himself and it took a few hours. Lessons learned: The hardest part was aligning the pieces on the headboard and baseboard of the bottom bunk if you stand them upright, but if you lay it on its side to line it then it’s easier. My husband complained the trundle had no instructions, but each box had its own paper so make sure to grab them all before you start. We were one screw short, but that could have been user error :) no complaints on how the items were packaged! We were able to fit all the boxes in a small SUV as well (with all seats down).

Other than MINOR issues such as some yellow stains, small dents, and the small boards at the head/foot that are loose, it’s a beautiful bed. It’s pretty sturdy and I love the option to separate and use as stand-alone beds. Even separated their sturdy. The ladder can be attached wherever you want it. The trundle does come with casters. I might have missed that in the description somewhere so I was prepared to not have them. It rolls in/out smoothly and is also sturdy.

Good quality bed and I was able to put it together without anyone else helping. But, even though it was supposed fit a full. The full was so tight that the wood was actually starting to bend. So, pulled a few sides off and the full size mattresses just hang over maybe 4 inches. Beautiful wood and high quality. Super solid. Just not actually big enough for a full.

Junk Junk Junk

These Beds Are Junk. The First Time My Grandson Went Up The Ladder The 2nd Step Broke. A Week Later The Top Safety Rail Broke Away From The Frame. Within 3 Months They Were Actually Dangerous To The Kids. My Boys Weigh 35lbs, 45lbs, & 105lbs. The Top Bunk Was Sagging In The Middle From My Grandsons105 lbs On The Top Where He Slept. Max And Lily Had The Worst Customer Service Ever. I Finally Just Threw Them In The Garbage Instead Of Begging Any Further For Help From The Company Who Offered To Send Me A New Board For The Safety Rail And Step. They Never Did Address The Topic Of The Beds Falling Apart In Such A Short Time. When I Did They Just Gave Me Excuses. No Supervisor Available Even Once During My Numerous Phone Calls. The Great Reviews Online Are False And Written By Max And Lily Themselves. Over 1000 Dollars Just Basically Thrown Away. Dont Waste Your Money. Cheap Metal Bunk Beds Are 10x The Quality Of This High Priced Junk.
