Looks great, but putting it together is another story
The assembly process is a pain. No way to use power tools, you have to use an Allen wrench and you have enough space for not even 1/4 turn at a time.

Cute, sturdy but sheds
They look nice and I think they are comfortable. I also like that the sear is bigger so my kids won't fall off. My only complaint is they shed the wicker stuff under the seat, which isn't something I thought about prior to purchasing.

They are so cute and look great under my kitchen island. Quality seems good, but I’ve only had them for two days

Love them! Assembly trick
I was skeptical due to the reviews on the difficulty of putting these together but glad I bought them. They are beautiful, sturdy and comfortable. I definitely see the reason behind the complaints for assembly but I found a way to make it easier- each stool took me less than 15min to assemble. When you are using the included Allen wrench to screw in the top bars the cut out is small- I initially used the short end to get the screw started- you can only do a half turn at a time. But I found once started I could flip to the long end at an angle (see picture) and quickly turn it without repositioning it ( just keep it angled so you don’t hit the leg and scratch it). If I hit a point where it was hard to turn I’d use the short end briefly and then go back. Then I used the short end to do the final tightening. Each screw went in really quick this way. Even if I didn’t figure this trick out, the stools would have been worth the effort!

Do not buy!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I can’t stress enough how overly difficult they have made assembling this chair. I wouldn’t wish this chair on anyone! Do not buy unless you really enjoy causing yourself pain.

Worth the work to assemble
Like other reviews these were not very easy to assemble. The first one took the longest at about an hour but after I figured out the correct way to screw the bolts I was much faster at assembling. The finished product was great. They are very classic looking stools that complete my new kitchen.

Mixed bag.
This stool is exactly the style we needed for our kitchen. The materials were impressive, resulting in a nice heavy piece of furniture. However, the stool was extremely difficult to assemble, and once assemble the legs were not level, requiring us to shim one leg.

Looks good - assembly has to be improved by the manufacturer
The stool looks great when completed. I was going to take back because of the difficulty in putting it together. The Allen wrench is useless as you can only turn it 1/2 inch which will take forever to finish the stool. Instead I used a phillips screwdriver (same one I used for the 35mm screws) It worked - just apply pressure down when screwing in the 40 mm screws but do not over tighten.. Assembly went much faster as you can turn the screwdriver completely around not like the allen wrench where you could turn it only 1/2 inch . Not sure if the manufacturer ever thought of trying the assembly of this stool himself but there must be a better way. Wobbled a little but a felt pad fixed that. go

Tricky assembly but pretty
Works for the price. These are not the easiest stools to put together. The other reviewer was right, some of the holes are not pre-bored. But with a little elbow grease the screw head makes the hole. Once put together they look great and are worth the effort. I've looked at many of this style counter stool online and some companies charge over $300 EACH. I'm sure they're noticeably better quality, but for the occasional use mine get these work great and look really nice.

Good look bad assembly
This os exactly the look I wanted. It is not quite as sturdy as I had hoped but it will do. The assembly is enough to make you drink...and it did because it takes almost 45 minutes to painfully screw in major screws with an allen wrench. I had four chairs!

Super tedious assembly
This is a beautiful stool BUT--and this is a BIG BUT-- the assembly is extremely tedious and time-consuming. There are 8 bolts that must be screwed into the top rungs using an Allen wrench that cannot turn more than 1/4 turn at a time because of the space. Moreover, the Allen wrench provided got stuck in the bolt nearly every time it was inserted, and we had to use pliers to get it out! (Thank goodness we had our own Allen wrench of the same size.) I do really like the stool, so the question is, was it worth it? I'm leaning toward "no." I sure wouldn't buy another one at this point.

Had to buy two stools to get the correct part to make one complete stool. The holes are pre-bored at an angle and on one of the legs it was not pre-bored. I saw this mentioned in another review but thought it was a fluke - no fluke! My husband said you need a special tool to bore it an angle like it needed to be and he did not have it. Also, to screw the screws in at an angle like required it took forever cause you can only use their special little tool and turn it less than halfway at a time. My husband was about to throw it all out the window. This stool is only for the patient person to put together ... the patient person with nothing but time!

Not Up to It, Impossible to Assemble
Extremely difficult to assemble as the screws don't align to the holes. You have to use a small Allen wrench to assemble in tight quarters. I was trying to replace a similar stool I previously bought from Target. They didn't match. So I took it apart and it broke. Not recommended by me.

Pain to assemble!,
I just purchased two of these stools. They look great, however I can't put them together!! The holes to attach the leg bolts should be drilled at an angle to be able to get the Allen wrench in. I have spent an hour on one screw, and it's not in all the way! And I have 7 more to go. I might be returning these...
