Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially 10am-2pm.Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sun glasses. Step 1: Cleanse daily with Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Removing Foam Wash. I loved how lightweight this moisturizer is and I felt that the sunscreen was highly effective. However this is a sunscreen, not a moisturizer, which I did not realize when I first bought it. You cannot wear this on its own, especially under makeup. For the high price, I think that I would have looked for a more hydrating sunscreen if I had realized how lightweight it really was. Also, as for the oil absorbing properties, while it is much less oily than the majority of daily moisturizers and sunscreens, I would not say that it reduces shine in any way. As a note, I have very oily and acne prone skin. With the use of this sunscreen, by midday my skin is extremely oily which is so disappointing. I will definitely use the rest of this bottle, but once it is finished, I will be looking to replace it with another sunscreen.

Love the sleek packaging, no mess at all. Very moisturizing without feeling heavy and isn’t too oily. Smell isn’t too strong and works decent, but does tend to burn my eyes and makes me cry the entire day if it gets a bit too close to them.

Cetaphil Dermacontrol Oil Absorbing Face Moisturizer with SPF 30 is the only brand I can wear and has given me the confidence to trust a sunscreen that is safe for my skin. I am so happy I bought this. It's perfect for my complexion. My face is med dark and super oily throughout the year. Other sunscreens I have tried usually just slip around on my face and often migrate onto my eyelids which causes a burning sensation in my eyes. Using this my facial skin stays matte with very little shine and looks healthy. There's no white chalky look, does not pill up, does not sit on top of my skin and doesn't slip around, it stays put until I wash it off. I reccomend this product.

I have the worst oily face EVER!!! This toned it down by 95%. Love it. It’s a must buy. I am 43 and in premeno and at least this helps my face not look so oily. It does have a weird smell but it doesn’t bother much.

I don’t know if I’ve ever written a review for a product at target but I had to leave one for this because it’s been a huge help for me. I’m a dude who doesn’t like how lotions or sunscreen feel after applying. But I have oily skin and have found that my new job sitting in HVAC all day is making my skin breakout from being drier and even more oily. I tried this and the accompanying foam wash and they’ve been a big help. This is the first lotion that I don’t mind how it feels on my skin as it seems to apply thinly and absorb quick. I can tell when I don’t use this as my forehead is noticeably more oily so I know it works. My big tip is you have to use this after the foam wash for best results.

I had purchased this for my husband to use, along with the PRO foaming face wash. He did enjoy both of them and I've tried them a couple times along the way when I've felt more oily than usual and they are nice products. We have only used them together so I can't speak on individual products. They don't dry out your face but definitely help. Scent is neutral. It is very much still a moisturizer and helps him with dry cheeks and mouth area from working outside in the sun and wind. Non irritating even on those areas.

I have moderate adult acne that comes and goes. When I'm breaking out, and even just in the summer, this product is amazing! It legitimately helps curb the oil and keep my skin controlled. I pair the cleanser and the moisturizer together for the full effect. This really is a holy grail item, especially if you use the SA cleanser at night.
