If you like a bold, authentic, flavor-packed salsa
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this one because the ingredients looked so fresh and clean and you can definitely taste that. Mateo's Gourmet Salsa (Mild) has a nice chunky texture, but not overly chunky. It's a good balance. Flavor-wise, it's bold. Like... really flavorful. It honestly tastes authentic, which I appreciate, but for me it was almost a little too much. Not spicy (since it's mild), just very strong in taste. I personally lean toward lighter, more subtle salsas, so this one felt a bit overwhelming after a few bites. That said, I can totally see why people love it - it tastes fresh, not processed, and the quality is there. It just comes down to preference. For me, it's good.... just not my go-to.

Fresh and delicious
