However, we periodically review and update our packaging to ensure all mandatory elements are compliant. During this round of artwork updates, the voluntary “gluten free” claim was removed. Please note that from an ingredient standpoint, these products still meet the FDA definition of gluten-free (eCFR :: 21 CFR 101.91 -- Gluten-free labeling of food.), but these products are not certified gluten-free and Happy Family does not routinely test the finished goods for gluten content. As always, we suggest consulting with your pediatrician if you are still uncertain if these products are appropriate for your little one. A: Hi Sam, Thanks for your question. This particular blend is a bit thicker than some of our other Stage 2 pouches due to the grains in the blend. If you are looking for a thinner puree, we suggest sticking with fruits/veggie blends and other stage 2 purees without grains. Hope that helps!
