Improve your gum health up to 100% better than a manual toothbrush with the ProtectiveClean 5100 rechargeable electric toothbrush. It has a pressure sensor that protects teeth and gums from excess brushing pressure. Brush heads wear out over time. Our BrushSync technology tracks how long you have been using your Optimal Gum Care brush head and how hard you have been brushing. Your electric toothbrush will beep to inform you when to replace your brush head. Customize your own brushing experience with your choice of 3 modes: Clean, White and Gum Care. The easy-start feature slowly increases the power of the brush as you get used to the Sonicare experience and the smartimer encourages a full 2 minutes brushing time as recommended by your dental professional. The battery charge indicator light lets you know when it is time recharge; 2 week battery life. The web page said the free brush head promotion is over, even though they knew all the packaging with the free tips hadn't all been sold. This kind of corporate decision making makes you wonder if they even care about brand loyalty anymore

I feel the Philips toothbrush cleans my teeth better than the Oral B. The Philips toothbrush appears to recharge faster than the Oral B. One of the major reasons to replace the Oral B came from the fact that over time I had a harder time finding the broader, typical Oral B toothbrush head. I am not a fan of the rounded toothbrush head. I am finding more merchants carry the Philips toothbrush heads than the Oral B. My only minor complaint: I would like a wider broader toothbrush head but I did rapidly adopt to the uniqueness of the Philips toothbrush functions.
