Nice piano light
Very nice light for the digital piano. I wish it was able to be tightened a little more, seems to sort of flop down at the slightest touch. I do wish it was a little wider but aesthetically it looks nice.

Cheap looking and tippy
This lamp is less attractive in person and tippy. First, the marble base is not all black, like the photo. It is more of a dark gray with streaks of white, which looks cheap in my opinion. Second, the metal looks less attractive in person. Finally, and worst of all, it is tippy. The whole point of this lamp is to be able have it at a 90 degree angle and when you do that you end up with a very tippy base. I can't trust this on my beautiful new piano at all.

Hi - the marble will vary in color because it is a natural material. For the base comment, you should be able to adjust the lamp so that it is not tippy. Disappointed
I would have sent this lamp back if I didn’t need it so urgently. The base does look like marble . It is cheap looking . Just like another reviewer posted , the styrofoam packaging was a huge mess . It crumbled in pieces & little balls everywhere . It went up a doorway & clung to everything in sight . I rushed our new puppy to her crate as she wanted to eat them . I have seen lots of styrofoam packaging , but never anything as cheaply made as this . I do not recommend this lamp & will most likely not order from this company again

Piano lamp for small desk area
I was so excited upon receiving this lamp. I use this lamp for my spare desk which is small and it fit perfectly. The lighting is a soft glow bulb and I noticed the brass metal part of the lamp does not get hot. It doesn’t give off any kind if heat. Overall extremely satisfied with my lamp.

Fair. Scratches all around the base like it was already returned and sold as a used item but not advertised as such I should have returned it
It had 12 scratches on the base all around the base. I was a first time customer and disappointed due to the scratches. It’s a beautiful piece and I would have given rave reviews if not damaged

Marble Base
Lamp is beautiful. Marble base has a white line running through it. Looks like a crack, but its not. Wouldn't be a big deal, but it runs down the front of the base and is very noticeable. Recipient commented it was ok, but still it is noticeable.

The reviews that state that the adjustment mechanisms do not work well are what I have found. We do have settings that work for us but they are not our ideal settings.

I am very pleased with this lamp. It's very attractive and adjusts nicely. Very pleased with the packaging. My only concern is how hot the shade gets.
