Unfortunately the scent is unbearable. I had to wash it off my face after twenty minutes because I still smelled it and it’s too awful

I really wanted to like this product, it was recommended to me as a great choice for rosacea safe gentle exfoliation. I haven’t been using it long enough to know if it will do the job, but I already know I won’t be able to keep using this. Some other users mentioned the smell, this product doesn’t use much scent masking so it quite literally does smell like spit. While the smell becomes less noticeable after the product sinks into the skin, my sensitive nose can’t handle it. If you have a sensitive sense of smell, skip this and try something else.

I developed rosacea while pregnant and this has helped resolve it completely. I also noticed a big difference in my redness and complexion and it never irritated my skin. I’m going to try to combine this with the Mandelic acid as I’ve heard they work well together for acne.

I only used it once over moisturizer (to reduce irritation) and I woke up with blotchy skin, bumps, itchiness, and puffiness. Would like a refund because it isn't cheap. Wish it worked for me.

the smell is absolutely appalling. disgusting.... my fiance immediately asked "what is that nasty smell?" it smells like bad breath and feces

First impression: smells like something’s gone bad. I wasn’t sure if it was my bottle but reading all the comments it seems to be a key experience for a lot of other people.

I have been using Naturium’s Azelaic Acid Topical for about one month now. I have a prescription strength 15% Azelaic Acid from my dermatologist. It is very potent and I don’t like to use it daily. I’ve been eyeing this one for a few years now and was looking for something a little gentler. I have been pleasantly surprised. Typically, when I begin using a new product, my skin can be quite reactive and become irritated. I have experienced zero irritation and have seen a reduction in both baseline redness. It has also helped keep congestion at bay. I haven’t used it long enough to see if it will brighten some acne scars; however, I am looking forward to see what long-term use will show. This is an instant repurchase for me and my first Naturium product. 10/10!

I just bought the product yesterday so I’m gonna have to wait few months too review the effects of the products itself. But I have to say : awful awful smell! I’m not even sure if I’m going to use it long enough to see result because of that. I love Naturium products, but this one is problematic because of the smell.

OMG, I used to have lots of hormonal acne on my chin and nothing would help. I got this and I have not gotten any acne there. Please try it if you have chin acne. Invest in trying this

Great for textured skin & rosacea! First time using this line & azelaic acid. I have sensitive skin & have used nearly daily for 3 weeks with fantastic results clearing acne, reducing pores/texture, & calming my redness to cheeks. I use this in the morning & their retinol complex serum at night after cleansing. Then I apply naturiams barrier bounce to moisturize.

I’m 35 and have dealt with adrenal PCOS since I was 24. I was looking to add something to my routine to help with some of the light rosacea around my nose and cheeks, and the minimal melasma that I get under my eyes and across my nose. I was really excited to start this azaelic acid-based product because I believed it would be gentle enough to reduce the hormone-based hyperpigmentation without prompting any severe reactions. I don’t normally deal with crazy acne— but unfortunately, I had to stop using this topical after it prompted one of the worst full-face breakouts I’ve experienced all year. This was the only thing I changed in my routine. I used it for just over 3 full weeks, and stopped it 2 weeks ago. I’m still dealing with residual inflammation, pasty whiteheads, and blackheads. Not saying this product would not work for anyone else— this could actually be a great fit for someone with stronger skin. But I believe the combination of Vit C, niacinamide AND azaelic acid is just way too strong for someone with reactive skin like mine. Instead, I’ve decided to just foot the bill and purchase a Red Light Therapy LED face mask. I’ve been avoiding this purchase for months, but my esthetician suggested it a while back, and I’ve decided to pull from my savings, see how that helps. I’ve also accepted that using more than 1 or 2 gentle actives in my routine, is NOT the answer for me. I’m going back to my regular routine and sticking to it for life. I don’t know if this was just mine but the texture is very gritty and it is hard to use consistently. Only Naturium product I haven’t liked

I have spent so much money and time trying to find products that would help my sensitive rosacea type 2 skin. This product has helped immensely! I will continue to buy this again and again.
