Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is formulated to target lackluster tone and textural irregularities. The formula, infused with charcoal and clays, aims to enhance the appearance of smoothness and clarity, leaving the skin feeling refreshed. The structure of salicylic acid facilitates its lipophilicity and miscibility with the lipids located on the surface of the skin. It is a suitable ingredient for targeting the removal of dead skin cells on the surface of oily and blemish-prone skin, with the purpose of revealing more radiant skin beneath. Charcoal and clays are ingredients renowned for their deep cleansing abilities due to their porosity and large surface area available for adsorption. They aid the removal of facial impurities that would otherwise remain on the skin surface and clog pores. Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is a rinse-off formula. Leave on for no longer than 10 minutes in order to maximize the exfoliating benefits.

Honestly, I have been using this mask for years and I can say it is truly my go to. I only use it once a week but that is plenty, because it does wonders to my skin. I have really sensitive skin, and this mask has never irritated my skin. It calms it down and makes it glow. It is awesome!

A Holy Grail Product
I LOVE this masque as a chemical exfoliant. It makes such a huge difference in the look and feel of my face. There are other exfoliants by other brands that are more expensive but this one is superior. And I’m a skincare junkie!

Added dark spots
100% pleased with this product. Using twice a week has faded dark spots from my face. Definitely has tingling feeling when applied but doesn't cause any damage. My teenager though said they felt it was slightly burning on his face. I would think better suited for mature skin than delicate young skin.

I've been using this mask for around 4 years now and I LOVE IT. I have blackheads and oily skin and this helps immensely. My skin feels soft and not overstripped after i use it. Great price point as well. I do ulta sold the bigger size as well.

First off this is not a serum but a mask that I didn’t need. So I tried it anyways. I’ve used many clay masks and none that were this bad. Second, even though I applied generously, it didn’t peel off as described or like any other mask I’ve used. I had to scrub it off and it ended up leaving residue on my skin. It was so bad my skin started peeling and flaking. Save your skin and don’t use this mask. I like many other products by The Ordinary but def not this.

Improperly labeled on sure
Unfortunately in ordering this item, I initially thought it was the salicylic liquid, not masque. The wording is correct for the product, however the picture is not depicted of the actual product you receive. Target - please update these to match as I see I’m not the only person to have been confused when ordering.
