Great cubby storage
We have had ours for 8 years and it’s held up really well. It’s been interchangeable in our house from closet storage, toy storage, book shelf and currently a pet supply space. It’s easy to clean and is made better than some of the other cubby storages I’ve seen. The top and bottom panels are a bit thicker which has added to its longevity. It is mdf board so be careful with water it could cause it to swell and warp.

I bought this in “Natural” color but it’s much darker than the listing image. It looks more like the weathered gray. While assembling the shelf my shirt caught on a corner and peeled some of the laminate finishing so one of the sides is already damaged. This item is too fragile for the price. I would return it but it would be a hassle as it’s already assembled. I do not recommend and wish I’d spent the $20 extra and purchased the better quality cube shelf at ikea

Damaged piece upon arrival
I love this item and had it delivered I’m currently 8 months pregnant so I’m not able to carry this from pick up. My husband can but it’s a hassle if you have to return we have to mail it. This is the SECOND TIME we received an item that has damage or a broken piece leading us to return. However, we would need to return the whole item to get a replacement for one part? This is starting to be a pattern we experience with clearance, reduced prices, or coupon items ordered from target app. I will not be ordering from target larger items than a pair of shoes.

Toxic cube oraginzer!
I was excited to receive this cube organizer to use for my son’s toys/books and upon receiving, there was a formaldehyde gas/ cancer warning on the box! Parents beware! It’s still bad for adults as well because it releases that toxic gas into the air and you’re breathing into it. So bad for you. I immediately returned it and brought a non toxic brand with close to the cost of this one, instead. The non toxic brand is called “back2schoolexpress” 🫶🏻

Great buy
For this price, I expected a piece of garbage but it actually looks really nice and there was no damage. The holes were all drilled where they were supposed to be and the instructions were good. I used a rubber mallet to help tap some of the pegs in. You’ll need pliers to tighten the screws with the Allen key, or a hex drill bit attachment, as by hand it was too hard to turn. My biggest complaint with this item was a HUGE warning sticker where you can easily see it from all angles warning people to not let their kids climb on the bookshelf or overload it. This could have been in the instructions, not a giant sticker plastered to it. It says don’t remove and they really made it hard to remove. I had to scrape it off bit by bit. I tried my nail but ended up needing to use a silicon scraper tool. All things considered, I’m happy with it for the price and is better and less expensive than similar things I’ve gotten from Wayfair. I’d order this again.
