Short Sliding Bin Cube - Brightroom™

The quality of the wood is so flimsy, dirty, chipped and uneven. The concept of sliding drawers is great, but why is the structure such poorer quality than the standard brightroom cube storage system?!

Very sturdy item, easy to put together. However when I got to the last two pieces that are supposed to stabilize the item, they didn’t fit (see photo). Not worth taking apart and returning, and will probably function fine with lightweight items, but before you get too far in the process I recommend laying out the pieces to ensure they fit.

I have now purchased 3 of these short sliding bin cubes, as well as the tall sliding bin cube/ tower. They are extremely versatile and can be used in any room. I use the 3 short ones in my closet, replacing the need for a dresser, along with the sliding baskets for all of my ‘folded clothes.’ The Tall Sliding Bin/ Tower is in our ‘play area’ and is perfect for organizing toys, arts + crafts, play food and dishes, and so much more. I use 2 large sliding baskets with lids, and 2 small (I think they're the small ones) sliding baskets with lids. Each cube/ tower includes all necessary hardware, easy-to-follow assembly directions, and the option to anchor your bin/ cube/ tower to the wall (you'll want to use the anchor in a playroom). After at least 4 weeks of research and searching storage options, the Brightroom line sold at Target was the clear winner. If they're still available I plan on buying 3 more🤞

Wanted to answer EVERYONE'S question! I too bought this (taller version) took me FOREVER to find bins that fit. So here are the dimensions of the bins I found. Dimensions: 15 in L x 12 13/16 in W x 6 1/8 in H. That's exactly what reads on the tag. Actual item # 002 07 0176. These are the smaller bins, but once you find these, there are deeper bins in the same family. The tower is nice, sturdy so are the bins. I only gave 3 stars because it was difficult to find the bins and NO ONE at Target was helpful.

I purchased several of these, but absolutely no bins anywhere.... and no answers from the store on where to get them.

I bought three of these in a slightly taller version. Put the first two together and they're great! Fairly solid, clear instructions. The bins fit great and I'm happy with them. My third unit is missing all of the pre drilled holes for 1 out of the 2 main pieces. A handier person could possibly drill their own holes but there are 24 of them that are missing! It's essentially useless as is, and I've already bought all of the bins for it. I'm very disappointed in the product quality

I have the bigger sliding bin cube. I have no idea what bins will fit. Anyone know?

Loved this shelf storage. Exactly what I was looking for in my son's room for his toys. I do wish they had the solid bins (not weaved pattern) in grey . But they still worked for what I needed them for. Labeled my child's bins for what toys are in each. I do wish they were a little taller and wider.

Would love to see options for adding shelves into the rails as well as baskets for customization options!

I have had this sitting in my garage for months now. Bought this and when I went to purchase bins for this they are out of stock on target. Several people have asked questions about the bins, but no answers from target. So I have an useless piece of item untim bins come back in stock. Can't talk about quality because unable to use.

Specifications state that the bins are included, although they actually are not.

Great little storage piece. I bought the white. They have changed the photos and description since I purchased - but in the specifications it still says “included: storage bins.” Bins do not come with it. Must be purchased separately.

Great for keeping the kids' tpys organized. It's easy for my 1 and 3 year olds to pick a bin of toys, without having to empty an entire toy box! Easy to assemble and looks nice. Only complaint is that one of the bin cubes didn't sit level when assembled as the boards were slightly warped.

I love this organization option! we used it in our RV for shoes and now we have it in our coat closet for winter items. I just ordered another one. I really like that you can put different size sliding bins it it.

Love these. I ordered 3 and they’re perfect for toy storage.

The two back long pieces that attach at the end to keep the bins from sliding through were both slightly too long. (See pics) the holes would have lined up for the screws but it would have taken me modifying the back to do so. Don’t know if this is an all model thing or not. Since this is not used for kids and is actually going to be my hamper, it’s not required to have the back piece. If needed I will add foam to the back bins so they don’t hit the wall. Over all it looks nice when all put together. Tools wise: Allen wrench was not enough. I don’t know if they forgot to include instructions in regards to the Phillips head screwdriver being needed or not. Thankfully I had an electric drill so that made the whole process much faster and less pressure on my hands and wrists.

Didn’t come with instructions. But it was extremely easy to put together without them. Love it!
