Revlon ColorSilk Permanent Hair Color with Bond Repair Complex - Brown

The new formula does not last and my gray roots show up in 10 days vs normally coverage is good until they grow out. I REALLY wish they would change back to the old formula!! I’ll be looking for a different product.

This new improved formula is atrocious to say the least. I have been using the light ash brown shade for over a year now and loved the results. However, now with this “new improved” formula it not only turned my hair dark brown, it was also very liquidity. Nothing like the old formula which was very much a cream like feel. I can no longer recommend this brand to anyone. It’s just awful, unless you want very dark hair then go for it. Other than that, look elsewhere for a better hair coloring product and experience!

I've been using dye from sallys for years and had the opportunity to try this product and really enjoy how easy it is to apply and would use it again! Packaging is easy to use and understand, the sgade is brighter than youd think but us very beautiful, applying it is very easy its not messy, it makes your hair smooth and shiny, it smells like dasies and roses.

I highly recommend Revlon color silk beautiful color in dark brown for anyone looking to change up their hair color without breaking the bank. It's affordable, easy to use and delivers fantastic results! Whether you're a coloring newbie or a seasoned pro, this product is definitely worth trying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes and tons of excitement at the thought of trying out Revlon's ColorSilk Beautiful Color ™ Hair Color, in the shade Dark Brown. It's supposed to have great gray coverage and I was in desperate need of that. I have gray hair at my hairline, especially around my temples. I also have significant thinning there and the two in combination really work negatively on my self esteem and confidence. It's been some years since I last had my hair colored. As a young teen my mom let me start expressing myself through coloring my own hair. I changed up my look at least once every other month. I'm an old pro at box dye, so I had no qualms about doing this myself. First things first, I noticed that there was little to no smell. As I said, it's been awhile since I've had my hair done at all. Apparently things in the hair care world have changed! There's no harsh smell at all! What I did smell was lightly floral and down right pleasant. I was shocked, to say the least. Win number 1! The next thing I loved was, as always, the conditioner. Do they sell that stuff? If they do, take me to it now! The conditioner in box dye is always a winner, but there was something special about this conditioner. It is premium. I highly recommend it. Combing out my hair was easy peasy. I usually have to use a leave-in conditioner, but not on that night. After blow drying, the overall state of my hair looked and felt great! Absolutely no problems there. Once I got a good look at the color and gray coverage, that's where my disappointment set in. The color wasn't what I had expected. It made my virgin hair look a bit red. I had no red tones in my hair previous to using this dye. I wasn't too happy about it doing that to my hair and I'm still not. The gray coverage was less than ideal as well. I didn't get much coverage around my temples. I was so disappointed to see those offending strands still shining like a neon sign. Overall, I have to say I wouldn't recommend this particular hair dye. Revlon might have other kinds of dye but this one isn't it. Report Card : D+ : inconsistent gray coverage, adds a red tone. Ms. Gallian says, "You need to study harder and do better."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I’m very impressed with the product. It was easy to mix and apply. I also feel like it made a surprisingly large amount of product. I have long hair that is medium thickness and I’ll use at least a full bottle normally but I actually had some left over with this. There was a chemical scent that exists with almost every hair dye, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly strong. I personally think the color turned out accurate to the box and looks really nice. Also, my hair actually feels really good after dyeing and using the conditioner. It’s soft and extra curly. The only reason I took a star off was because they are still not considered cruelty-free which is important to me. I think, especially today it’s so common to be cruelty free it’s kind of hard to understand why they still aren’t. For that reason I won’t be repurchasing, which is unfortunate because the product is good.

I usually use 2 boxes to cover all my hair but i had one to use I have to say I love the results My hair was smoother than I thought i will be So bright and gave me just the color i want and goes with me ..
