Q: we've been using millie moon diapers and our daughter most of the time has diaper rash. we have taken her to dr and he suggests that it might be diaper....what do you think? we are now tryng huggies
submitted by new mom - 3 years ago
A: Every baby has the potential to react differently to a product. I had one that I could put any brand on without issue, and another who broke out with the brand his brother primarily used.
submitted byMom2jngncna - 7 months ago
A: Every baby is different. It could definitely be the diapers. I had a similar issue once with one brand. Anytime we try to use that one, she gets a rash. You may just not be able to use Millie moon specifically
submitted byJadeNic - 1 year ago
A: Though not sure if it's what many are experie& age seems common concern. They can be hypersensitive to or have a reaction to certain diapers/wipes which can present diff, suggest trying diff brand
submitted byRome - 8 months ago
A: I actually switched from Kirkland to Millie moon and her redness rash improved. Babies will still get rashes if you don't change them often enough. We use honest diaper rash cream too. These diapers have been much better than others we tried.
submitted byVeganNomz - 2 years ago
A: Millie moon gave my daughter a terrible diaper rash less than 24 hrs after buying them. She has used multiple other “hypoallergenic” diaper brands before this and never had a problem. I’m so disappointed-they are not what they promised.
submitted byPixie242 - 2 years ago
A: I switched when they changed to ECF my son is sensitive to it. I used parasol as they are soft and TCF but Huggies skin essentials is good too.
submitted byRaine - 8 months ago
A: Millie moon definitely causes severe diaper rash. My baby's skin blistered so bad. She is fine now that we switched to pampers
submitted byJas - 5 months ago
A: I’ve used these with 2 of my 3 littles (current one is 11mos) and loved them for various reasons but after their process/ingredients changed… it gave my baby girl a rash so I discontinued automatically and haven’t gone back; it’s not worth the risk. Wipes too. I have a whole box I don’t want to give out 😒.
I’ve switched to Parasol and have been very happy with them.
submitted byNalaSarabi - 1 year ago
A: Same! We switched no more issues !
submitted byMicah - 2 years ago
A: I have not had this issue with Millie Moon diapers. Rashes are caused by excessive moisture. If you’re experiencing this, try thoroughly drying during diaper changes. I have never used a diaper cream on my two children (one 2.5- now out of diapers and one 4-month-old). After a wet wipe, I use a dry wipe, then fan it out before putting on the new diaper. Also, make sure you’re changing the baby’s diaper sufficiently.
submitted byNoname7 - 1 year ago
A: I would say my baby hasn't had diaper rash since using Mille, he had it every other day with pampers and he peed threw pampers and Huggies..

A: I would be incredibly surprised if Huggies were better, considering that they’re not very non toxic, I would recommend a truly non toxic diaper, something totally chlorine free such as honest, kudos or pura to name a few. I came to read the ingredients of Millie moon and will not be buying them.
Please don’t try pampers they’re full of fragrance. Even the pure ones. They also have lotions, which can be irritating.
I am only looking around for a different diaper because I have a gift card to use up, but have been happy with those listed above!
submitted byLia - 2 years ago
A: Are you consistently using diaper rash cream? We’ve never had this issue with Millie moon and have used since our daughter was born. She’s 1 now. Maybe your babe is extra sensitive. I do think these diapers are “cleaner” than Huggies from my understanding. I hope you find a solution!!
submitted byTeppes20 - 1 year ago
A: probably because they went from TCF to ECF. smh.

A: We used multiple brands (including MM) that used to be TCF but they changed ingredients and went ECF my kids started breaking out from them, too. So sad that companies are taking the cheap way out for ingredients. We LOVE coterie and they are TCF!
submitted byJlang - 5 months ago
A: They changed their formula and are much more toxic now. We immediately stopped buying it after my babies started having diaper rash (never being an issue prior to the change). Shame on Millie Moon for taking a mostly clean formula and making it toxic in the name of "softness".

A: I absolutely love these diapers! I don't understand the rash complaints, every now and then my baby gets a rash but it's usually due to feeding or weather or if the diaper isn't changed rapidly.

Q: Hello, why are there new comments from mothers on TikTok saying that these diapers are using chlorine again? can someone confirm this ?
submitted by Harman - 3 years ago
A: They are ECF not TCF.
TCF doesn’t use chlorine or any chlorine derivatives in the bleaching process.
ECF uses chlorine dioxide instead of elemental chlorine gas for bleaching. It significantly reduces the amount of dioxins and other chlorine-related pollutants compared to traditional chlorine bleaching but doesn’t eliminate them.
submitted byECT vs TCF - 2 years ago
A: Hi Harman,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Earlier this year we shared with our Millie Moon community that we made the move to Elemental Chlorine Free pulp. ECF pulp is the market standard and is completely safe for delicate baby skin. Our diapers are rigorously quality tested to ensure their safety and certified by leading quality organizations include OEKO-Tex Standard 100, Derma test as well as being PETA-certified Cruelty Free & Vegan. If you reach out to us on Instagram at @mymilliemoon or by email at mymilliemoon.com our customer love team would be happy to help answer any questions you might have for us.

Leaky diaper, super disappointed!
Honestly, we’re the best diapers in my opinion till they weren’t! We’ve been using Meloon for the past 11 months and never had an issue until recently for the past weeks my daughter has been having leaky diapers and it’s not like if she stays in a wet or dirty diaper for hours . My husband and I are constantly changing her so I don’t understand what’s the reason for the leaky diaper! There’s been a few incidents where she’s been sitting in a puddle of pee and the diaper isn’t even full, which is odd to me. I’ve even sized up which isn’t needed and still the same issue.

Millie moon is a no for me
The new formula sucks, our kiddo has gotten the worst rashes, there is diaper residue left in her and the blue line never turns blue even when it’s a full diaper.

DO NOT BUY
We’ve been using Millie Moon diapers for my son since he was born and did not have issues with their diapers until recently. My son accidentally had a poopy diaper overnight and woke up to the worst diaper rash. It was red, swollen, and oozing - just awful! We will not be buying or using Millie Moon again. Buyer beware to all mothers. This happened to us with a box that was recently purchased in April for size 3 diapers.

They used to be great until the formula change...
I had started using Millie Moons in February 2026 after switching over from Coterie. They were great until a product formula change that caused my daughter to have on and off rashes until finally a chemical burn. I hadn’t associated the rashes with the diapers until I did a quick search and found I wasn’t the only one having this issue. I hope they reformulate or go back to the original formula since this is terrible! I’m so sad since these diapers were soft and beautifully absorbent with little to no blow outs. After some research, I’m switching to Rascals.

Never had an issue with my babies having a rash my year and half year old daughter has used Millie moon from birth. Even with frequent diaper changes, my newborn and toddler developed terrible rashes that even with constant diaper cream and soaking baths every day did not go away until we changed diapers to freestyle brand.

New Formulation is Disappointing
I’ve used these diapers since bringing my baby home from the hospital and loved them until recently. The formula change caused an eczema flare up for my little boy. NEVER had this issue before. So sad and disappointed in Millie Moon since we loved these diapers and the performance was great. But changing diapers and not being transparent about that to parents isn’t okay. New diapers feel a bit different on the inside and have a definite funky chemical smell that isn’t present in the original diapers. Before would have been a 5 star diaper, but won’t be using something that causes my baby to break out

A definite must buy!
I wish I found these diapers way sooner! My daughter has always been a chunky baby so I have sized up for awhile now, have tried many different brands in size 7-8 but nothing has compared to these so far! They are very soft, amazing quality and comfortable for my daughter. Absolutely love these and the price is unbeatable compared to most diaper brands. My daughter recently turned two and I wish I used Millie Moon sooner so she could be in them for much longer but will continue to only use these moving forward until she is completely out of diapers!

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I saw the company comment that they haven’t changed anything recently and yet it seems like they are trying to gaslight all the mamas with babies having rashes. We exclusively used Millie Moon for 2 years but will be switching. The new boxes have given us a rash, leaks and blowouts. Issues we’ve never experienced before. Prior to that we had a box with 20 diapers that easily ripped when pulling the tab. Customer service was no help.

These are the only diapers my daughter will use. They are soft, so presumably comfortable-and they fit a baby boy’s body well so there aren’t any accidents. Order the size typical for the baby’s weight and build. I was not aware that Target sneaks in an extra charge if you choose”Delivery,” so choose the shipping option. It takes an extra day or so, but you are saving about 10 bucks.

We’ve used Millie moon for 3 years and all of a sudden there’s barely any absorbency, they’re not as soft and my children have chemical burns. Heartbroken to have to switch to a different brand after being a fan for 3 years. The only brand I used since becoming a mom. Company should be embarrassed.

Love them
We have loved using Millie Moons. We received a lot of diapers for our baby shower and Millie Moons were the only ones that don’t leak and last overnight. There is not a blowout barrier but I haven’t found that to be an issue, we’ve never had a blowout. The diapers changed a bit from the first few boxes we had, the pattern goes all the way to the top now and they might be shaped slightly different. But we haven’t had any problems with rashes or any change in the diaper quality since the change. They still fit good and are so soft!
