Shiseido has been around for ages at this point, so when I got this sample I knew that I would not be disappointed. And I definitely was not! Shiseido is one of the most well-known Asian skin care brands within my family, and I have grown up using their products whenever we were able to get our hands on them. Yes, they tend to be on the pricier side, but boy, are they 100% worth it! Even this small sample back blew me away with how powerful and fast-acting the eye cream was. Shiseido really knows what they're doing, and there's a reason why they have such a huge following. 10/10 would DEFINITELY purchase!

Good Texture, But the Fragrance and Finish Miss the Mark
I really wanted to like this eye cream. The texture itself is pleasant. It spreads easily, and just a small amount is enough for both eyes, which makes the jar last a long time. The scent is another story. While it does smell nice, the fragrance is much too strong for an eye cream and lingers for hours. I could still notice it two hours after applying. The biggest drawback for me is how the cream sits on the skin. Instead of absorbing, it leaves a film that feels greasy and heavy throughout the day. Overall, this eye cream has potential, but the strong fragrance and greasy texture keep it from being a product I'd reach for again.
