Recently Reformulated!!
This product use to be a Holy Grail for me for years and was the only cleanser that worked on my skin. I bought my recent bottle and my skin started to burn a little. After a few days I got a rash near my nose and chin. I ended up researching because this was the only new thing I bought for my skin in the past week and found out they changed the formula and added a few ingredents that can be very irritating to skin. Companies should really tell customers when they change their products because now I have a rash that burns and I have no idea how to get rid of it. Please if you use to love this product and you have sensitive skin look for another cleanser.

This cleanser is a good option if you're looking for a VERY gentle cleanse. It has almost a lotion consistency and doesn't produce very much lather/foam. It was a little too gentle for me, and I prefer cleansers that lather more. But still a very good cleanser for people with sensitive skin.

Run away unless you enjoy pain
I would give this a zero or negative stars if I could. I have very sensitive skin which is why I purchased this product. I use the Tolerene eye make up remover and love it, so I thought this would be just as good. Wrong! As others have mentioned, it literally burned my skin. My under eye area IMMEDIATELY because red, swollen and itchy. It took ice packs on my face to get the swelling and redness to subside. Worst product being marketed as a “gentle” wash for “sensitive skin”. Try the Prequel wash and save yourself the agony.

Love it!
I have used an expensive cleanser for a long time, but it was getting hard to obtain. My skin is sensitive and I’m always hesitant to try new things. I’ve now been using this La Roche Posay hydrating cleanser for a few months and can say that it’s great! I alternate with the purifying one and my skin has been clear and hydrated. I tend to have dry skin on my face if I’m not using the right products and this keeps my face moisturized without being too much or causing oily skin. I’m so glad I found this!

I was hoping for a one step cleaning solution. Unfortunately this is not it. I would still like something gentle but this does not take off make up at all.

They changed the formula.
Read the ingredients if you have sensitive skin. I got the travel size to test it out and I was fine and got the big bottle after reading the ingredients on the Target website. The pictures and ingredient list needs to be updated. I started breaking out like I do when I use products with citric acid. I thought it was something else I was using and checked everything else and turned the bottle over and there it was. It's a shame because I really do like this product but I can no longer use it because the ingredients changed.
