Nightmare! 17 Boxes and Counting

Save yourself from a nightmare and don't order your baby food from Target. I placed an order with all different flavors and mixed brands. To fulfill this order, I'm at 17 shipments and counting over a 2 week time period that keeps changing! And the charges are 1 baby food jar at a time to my account and 1 baby food in each box coming. I can't keep track! I tried to call. I couldn't cancel it, only ask for a return as each one ships. Welcome to my nightmare of boxes to come if they ever do.

Quick pasta for one

I don’t feed this to a baby - I turn it into pasta sauce! While my pasta boils in another pot, I sauté about a tablespoon of tomato paste (which I keep in my freezer) with one container of butternut squash baby food, adding splashes of pasta water periodically as it simmers for 10-15 minutes. I add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, plus a small pinch of nutmeg. I add a splash of milk near the end, and then a dab of cold butter at the end. Add in the cooked pasta and more pasta water to achieve your desired thickness. Sautéed mushrooms and chicken pair really well with this - I think most veggies would, too. Then finish with parmesan.
