Not good for colored red hair
As I washed my hair with this the suds turned red. As I rinsed it out I watched the red go down the drain. This was probably the 6th time I had washed my hair since my most recent salon dye. My hair has been colored red for about 15-20 years and it was the first time I experienced this (besides during the first 1-2 washes after a dye job). This was my first and last time using this shampoo. I will say that my hair was soft the next day. Absolutely do not recommend for dyed red hair though.

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo had a great smell. Had the consistency of a body wash. Didn’t lather much on the first wash the second time it lathered much better. It didn’t wash out or dull my black hair color. It left my hair feeling very clean. I would certainly use, again. The conditioner smelled good, too. My hair didn’t tangle, and after drying my hair was very soft and manageable. Color didn’t rinse out or fade. I think it’s best for normal scalp. I would highly recommend.

Silky and smooth

I am in week four of using both products and I only wash my hair 3 times a week. I was pleasantly surprised by the effect on my partially gray, partially colored hair. I found the grey hairs to be a bit less unruly and the rest of my hair had a more smooth, silky, and shiny look. I would recommended this combination and will definitely continue to use it.

My hair felt clean after one wash. while it is paraben free, it wasn't sulfate free. I would have given 5 stars if it was sulfate free. However, my hair felt clean and soft after one wash.

It contains sodium laureth sulfate as the second ingredient which absolutely strips color. So why is a color shampoo? No idea. Plus it has a few different Dimethicones which will build up over time. The fragrance is not great, not completely overdone/offensive but not pleasant to me. The conditioner is ok, decent slip. But it builds up. The set is not awful, particularly for the price but if you have expensive salon color why not protect it with good hair care? This isn’t it

Good price for the product however based on the ingredients I will stick with salon grade shampoo and conditioners to extend the length of my hair coloring

I’m impressed that I get the benefits of color protection and detangling while leaving my hair looking healthy and smells fresh. My hair looked shiny after the conditioner. It also did a good job keeping my frizz down! Overall it is a nice product at a reasonable price. I would buy this product on my own!

If you're looking for a miracle "shine" product for your hair, however, keep looking. These products didn't do any damage to my hair, but I didn't see any real benefits either. Just a good, everyday shampoo and conditioner.

What you've described is not something we would expect and I'm sharing your experience with our Quality Assurance Team. Lack of shine is usually caused by dryness and split ends. Dry hair doesn’t reflect light and so doesn’t shine. Tips: Try a version with a higher level of conditioning. Try using a conditioning treatment 2 or 3 times a week. Leave conditioner on for up to 5 minutes. Use more conditioner on the ends of your hair as they are drier. Try a leave-in conditioner.
