Plastic tubed makeup is dry not the same as bottle
I bought this as the bottled option is no longer available. Makeup in the tube is not like in the bottle. It is very drying on the face.

I’m disgusted that the Cover Girl brand decided to discontinue their most well known foundation, Clean foundation, which I have been using for 35 years. The consistency of the liquid was not too “wet” and not too “dry”. It (was) the perfect weight for a very broad range of skin types and age groups. The bottle itself was much superior to any plastic crap tube. This is the line in the sand for me. I have watched the corporate greed in packaging and marketing over the years become worse and worse for the consumer. Goodbye forever.

Hate. It's 1000x worse than the liquid foundation. I've been using it since 6th grade, now 44. There's a reason you can't use the same product on young/old skin -- they stop making it. Now, I'm left trying to find anything even close to what you USED to make. It was clean, fresh, thin and breathable while layerable. The plastic tube sucks compared to the bottle. This is how you lose brand loyalty to E.L.F. -- stopped making an affordable perfect product and now we lament when you were good. It feels like you want only kids who don't know better. Cheap, entry level make-up that's outta touch and makes you look old. Good job. 30+yrs dedicated happy customer, instant bitterness and sarcasm after this crap

Good foundation
This is a nice lightweight foundation. It wears well it is moisturizing and blend-able and the finish is very natural. I didn’t notice a scent. My only issue is that I didn’t see that there were very many deeper shades. But other than that it’s good.

I have used the foundation for over 30 years. I absolutely hate the new packaging and formula. The liquid separates and no way to shake it. It is hard to get out of the tube. It is messy and there is so much waste. I have tried and tried to like it since the change. But decided I need to find a new foundation. I hope with all the bad reviews from your loyal customers that the company will change back to the old packaging.

I wanted to love this but man did my skin hate it! I was surprised it caused such a bad reaction since it’s supposed to be “clean” and better for you. The color match was great, there was a tiny bit of a chemically scent but it was not strong. The foundation felt light on my face at first but then it felt like the sunblock lotions that feel sort of thick and silky. Initially I thought maybe it will feel lighter after it dried or had been on for a bit but my face just had that feeling as if I’d applied too much sunblock after a long while. There was also no coverage so this to me felt more like a hint of tint moisturizer rather than foundation. I went out and that’s when my skin reacted. It felt thick and strange on my face. I started to feel a bit tingly not itchy. Didn’t think anything of it, had to wash this off my face and realized it made me break out badly. I did not use any other products on my face beside my moisturizer which is the same I’ve always used and I even used less of it because of the use of a new product. If you have sensitive skin maybe don’t bother but everyone’s skin is different so I think it’s worth a try for the $6 and if it works for you that’s great.

Horrible
When discovering that the Company stopped producing liquid foundation in bottles I purchased two of the new tubed foundation. My first review was negative because I was disappointed with this new product, for several reasons. Now, thinking maybe I just had a bad tube I decided to use the second, well it didn’t get any better. It has a terrible smell, the application is bad, getting it out of the plastic tube is difficult, the sharp corners of the tub, it splashes when squeezing. Worst of all if it splashes on your clothes or robe it permanently stains. I have always used your liquid make-up, it has now been ruined by your new formula and packaging.

Packaging is horrible
I really tried to like the new packaging. No joy! Opened another new tube this morning. Contents had totally separated. In plastic tube there is no way to re-blend like shaking the old glass bottles. Even if you try squeezing with the cap on to blend, the oil just seeps out around the cap. So now I've lost ounces plus the formula for the rest of tube is out of wack without the oil - besides having an early morning mess on my counter. This is after painfully trying to get the last of the foundation out of the previous tube. Who thought hard pointy corners in the palm of the hand squeezing the plastic tube was the way to go? So after using Covergirl since I was 18 - turning 75 in a few weeks - I'm seriously looking for another brand of foundation.

Disappointing
This was definitely not the same product as what was in the bottle, I've used Classic Beige 130 in the bottle for decades. I tried the plastic tube, it seemed like it had less product than the bottle, maybe because it's difficult to get it out of the tube once you've used a bit of it, and it becomes far messier to deal with than a bottle. It provided a different coverage, seemed thicker, and the color was a bit off from the bottle I still had. I would not purchase this again. Not sure why companies feel like they have to change things. So disappointed. And frustrating to search for another product that will work for me.

Its really a BB cream
It says invisible and its pretty thin-extra light coverage. Its a BB cream really. Its a good intro for a first time makeup user, for a very young person like a teen to mid 20’s or someone who has clear skin already. I like it to go to the gym for a no makeup look. I use a heavy dusting of the clean powder. It doesnt feel like I am wearing makeup. I prefer medium to full coverage for going out. I am a middle age woman for reference with normal skin.
