I love the concept of this candle accessory set, but the actual tools are not that great. The cutter doesn't have a sharp blade, the snuffer is very narrow, and the pic's two horizontal bars (for decoration) are actually a little sharp. The bronze color is beautiful, though, and the box and inner drawer are perfectly square and at right angles, so they fit well with each other and it's easy to pull the tray out and push it back in. I was thinking of buying a wider snuffer to replace the narrow one included, but, at first glance, I don't think a wider one would fit in the box, so I'm stuck with the narrow snuffer. Which is okay because it's still a nice set overall. What I like best about it is that all of the tools are contained in the box, which means you can leave the box out and not worry about having to dust the tools, because one swipe of a damp cloth across the top of the box should take care of any dust. Plus, the box makes everything look neater and tidier and without clutter. Of course you can easily leave it out because it's decorative and ubiquitous, but you can also stuff it in a drawer or cabinet and not have to worry about the tools accidentally falling to the bottom or back of the cabinet or drawer where you'd have to dig them out. This set is a great concept all around, and if the tools themselves were better quality, this set would be awesome. The price is too high for what you get, but if you think you would still like this despite the drawbacks, I would recommend it. I hope they continue this concept and offer a satin nickel or pewter option as well, with better tools.

I love this decorative case with candle tools. I burn a lot of candles & this really comes in handy & looks great too!

I specifically purchased this candle accessory box because I already own the Hearth & Hand long candle lighter and small lighter, both electric. This is the exact same finish and color of my lighters and it pairs together nicely because it is identical to what I already have. Having said that, this box is not built to be long enough to hold the long electric lighter I purchased a few weeks ago. It’s not like I bought the lighter (pictured below) years ago and they did not think that people would want to pair these two things together, these are being sold at the same time. I am super disappointed that I don’t have a way to store these accessories that would otherwise make a set from the same brand in the same place. I usually look at measurements to be sure before I purchase if I am worried about the size and on this I didn’t because I thought it was a no-brainer and that everything went together. If you are not looking to do this, this is a beautiful and well made set. I like my lighters so much and how they look, I knew that I would love to finish on this and I do.

This is a fun little collection of candle tools and would make such a fun gift, paired with a nice candle. The brass box and tools all feel sturdy and function as they should. I like that the tools have a decorate box for storage.

This set looks nice. It really does. The box has this great pattern on it and the tools have a rustic brass look with some dark spots looking perfect. It looks like a set I would have seen as a kid at my grandparents house. The wick cutter is a little uncomfortable to hold, but I chalk that up to form over user interface. I think these are tools you will see more than you use (unless you keep them in their box I guess).

This set is gorgeous! I have the one from last year’s fall collection. I just had to get this one. Mine did arrive with two wick trimmers and the snuffer but no wax dip tool. They’re sending me a replacement so I hope this is a one off issue and the new one isn’t the same.
