Ehh, almost there. Not quite.
Great attempt. Love the flavor idea, and I love the late hit of pepper. But in the end it misses. This is too sweet and salty. As someone with culinary background, this needs a LOT less sugar (see the nutrition panel), and/or more acid to balance this out better.

Sickeningly sweet flavor. Nothing good contains lots of sugar and sodium. The only way to save it was to boil 2 chicken breasts and shred them - added the shredded chicken and a few cups of the broth. Also added 1 can of Rotel, dices jalepenos, shredded cheese, chopped onion and bell pepper.

Flavor profile is creamy sugar. So gross that family of non-picky eaters wouldn't finish the meal. in this economy, nothing passes me off more than wasting food/money. We would've eaten it even if mediocre or salvageable by adding other ingredients.
