Soft, moist, flavorful...good with or without frosting! they can be a little sticky while rolling into a ball to put on the cookie sheet, but these are a hit in our house. Gives cake cookie vibes. o also tried the red velvet and again just amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love red velvet cookies and I usually use cake mix for them so this was perfect! I bought this and kept it in my cabinet for a few months before using it and it latest well. The cookie tasted great and was soft!

Pretty good for cookies in a bag. A couple things though. Cookies taste like they have a little bit of mint in them. Double-checked what I bought and it does say chocolate. The other thing I noticed is the instructions on my bag call for eggs and butter, and the instructions on the photo here call for eggs, butter and water. I didn’t think the dough was too sticky so I’m wondering if it has anything to do with water. I don’t bake too much so I’m not sure.

Cons: Dough was so sticky. Even after refrigeration, it did not help. I added some flour and while it was still sticky I managed to get it to form enough to make the cookies. It was frustrating and I had very low expectation for the end result. Pros: They ended up baking great. I covered 1/2 of the batch in powdered sugar as suggested. Was happy with how they all turned out. Pro or con (depends on the person.). This is not an extremely sweet cookie. It’s sweet enough in my opinion but I’d say it’s more subtle. Kind of relieved to eat a treat that isn’t sickening. Overall this was a good cookie but making them was a pain. The only thing I can think is maybe my butter was too softened and it messed it up. I’d be willing to try again to see if it was a my error but based on the reviews, I’m not the only one who had the same issue. Giving a very generous 3 rating even though I feel like it’s more of a 2 based on the dough.

The instructions are clear and i just followed them and these turned out good. These are soft and of great taste. My whole family really enjoyed these cookies. Will definitely make them again.

Chocolate flavor is bitter and is not sweet. More chocolate chips like milk chocolate need to be added to the cookie mix. The powdered sugar did not even help to improve the flavor. This mix was utterly disappointing. Fair warning if you have bad acid reflex stay away from this cookie flavor mix.

Soft, Delicious and Addictive !

My honey pronounced these Mmmm worthy and said he hoped these were not going out of the house as gifts. He was delighted to hear they were all his to munch on. Made them small and bite sized so he could have the fun of lots in the cookie cannister. Takes a lot of butter, so if that's not your thing you might want to pass. Definitely a fall treat.

soo good! very easy to make. kinda sticky dough but just put flour on your hands and you can ball it easily.

usually make my own cookies but this was cheap and made baking with a toddler fun and less stressful. Maybe not the best ingredients but they tasted festive and good (I did add chocolate chips and walnuts)
