Smashbox Photo Finish Pore-Vanishing Primer - 1 fl oz - Ulta Beauty: Gel, Translucent, Combination Skin

I received this product a few weeks ago and I have enjoyed using it. It feels soft and smooth. It's not sticky feeling like others I have used. I will continue using it. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.

I had bought extra of the pore minnimizer photo finish (the former product) because it was the best. I now ran out and tried the new product and agree with other reviewers, that it does not compare at all to the discontinued product.

Great for my pores

I bought this primer in store the day before I used it. When I first pumped it out, it was straight oil. I shook the bottle and it still came out as a mix of oil and primer. I had to shake it really hard just to get it usable, which is pretty frustrating for a brand-new product.

The previous formula was amazing!. It really made me matte, made my foundation stay in place, and took care of those pores. This new formula is just greasy and doesn't do what the last formula did. I'm holding on the last little bit I have of the old one.

It felt so smooth applying to my face and didn't leave a heavy or greasy feeling residue. The packaging is efficient and makes it easy to pack when traveling.

I have dry, mature skin and this primer is perfect for when I want to wear a full face of makeup. It blurs pores without clogging or drying out my skin. I use it with my traditional foundations and skip it with skin tints that need to soak in a bit more. It's a great pore-filling primer and I would repurchase it again! The previous formula was my go to. Made my skin so flawless I didn't even need foundation and I have really large pores. I really wanted to like this and it sucks I have to find a new primer :( No idea why they discontinued such an amazing product. I still have a little left and am hoarding it for special occasions

For my big pores and oily girls this primer is for you, a little goes a long way, love the texture it's smooth like butter, leaves skin feeling like a new born baby, definitely recommend

It noticeably blurs pores and creates a more even base without feeling heavy or greasy. I like that it doesn't leave a residue or pill when layering foundation on top. My makeup looks smoother right after application and stays looking more polished throughout the day. It wears well without breaking down or emphasizing texture, especially in areas where pores are more visible. Overall, it gives a clean, soft-focus finish.

I bought a little mini trial tube of this primer some time ago. It was tinted and I loved that because it didn't require additional makeup to cover pores and blemishes. This product feels like a dream on your skin! That said...I returned to Ulta recently to purchase another tube. Not realizing it came in both "tinted" & "clear" I grabbed a larger box/tube this time. Imagine my dissapointment when I didn't get the same coverage when I applied it. A suggestion...maybe make the boxes reflect the fact that 1 is tinted and the other not? Bottom line: I would recommend BUT I would also stress that there is "Tinted" & "clear". Also, if you'd like to send me a free tube of the tinted it would be GREATLY appreciated! :)

This product works amazing for oily skin like mine. It minimizes the appearance of pores and looks so smooth and flawless. Highly recommend for everyone

I loved the thick clay like formula that was tinted, this one does not fill in large pores as well.

this is the first primer that I've tried that actually blurs the pores; mattifies nicely as well

It really does minimize the pores for that flawless look! As usual with their primers you can't even tell you have it on, it just melts into your skin with no sticky residue! Will definitely continue to use!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I liked it, the finish it has is nice, it does what it says. packaging is good. It just Smells ok. I just wouldn't replace it with my go-to primer haha.

I always used the minimize pores primer and now that it's discontinued, tried this. Doesn't do anything compared to minimize pores primer. So disappointed. Will be on the search for a new primer unfortunately.
