  • A: Hi! These can go in horizontal toaster (ie toaster oven) and microwave. If they go in a vertical toaster the frosting may drip down and burn. They taste amazing when toasted horizontally / microwaved!

    Basic not much flavor to it. The pastry part is a bit dry and lack taste, almost taste like frozen once. The lcing is saving it a bit. In comparison with Legendary Foods pastry version, theirs are better.

    Dont Put in Toaster!!

    DONT PUT THESE IN YOUR TOASTER. These shouldn’t be right next to regular pop tarts…they’re hardly similar except for in shape. My first attempt at making one ruined my toaster. Bad on me for not reading the directions first, but I imagine most people would assume you’d eat them the same way as the product they’re clearly meant to substitute. Taste was fine, but this was a bit expensive for four pieces.

    I agree with many other reviewers that these are good for what they are. In general, Magic Spoon has the best-tasting healthy versions of cereals and snacks on the market. That doesn't mean that they don't have a bit of a strange aftertaste, but, despite the not-perfect ending, the overall flavor is pretty good. There's not enough filling in the protein pastries, and if you're looking for something like a Pop-Tart, you will likely be disappointed. The consistency is softer, even if you toast the item. That said, it's still a good snack, especially if you're on the go. I would definitely purchase these again.

    I really don’t know why it tastes like a cardboard with some spread. It has sugar but is not sweet. So far I have tried most of the different treats and I personally don’t like any.

    Pop tart!

    Was excited to try these pop tarts! They are soft with just the right amount of sugar. I like this one better than the brown sugar one, but both are very good. There is only 1 per package, but large! My only advice is to not put them in a regular toaster. I burned up the sugar on one side and set off my fire detector! 🤪 I did not think that through! But highly recommend!
