Terrible new design
I’ve bought these before when the clips had rubber inside. These clips no longer have rubber but instead small teeth. It isn’t as secure as before. Also, the mechanism to open and close the clip is super duper cheap and doesn’t work well. This is an awful product from what used to be one of the best hair clips I used. I will be returning this after trying one clip out bc it’s unusable.

Bring back the old design!
I have been buying these clips for years and they used to have a soft almost rubber like grip, they were great at holding hair. This new batch is much thinner and more plastic like with tiny little sharp teeth to hold her in place, which is not even close to comparable to what they used to make. Sadly, I think this is the end of the road for me in this product.

Don't waste your money - bad quality
Like with most things in the world these days they changed the design and with it the quality. I have been buying these for YEARS as my favorite clips and the last time i bought them they were completely different. The inside used to be a soft gippy plastic and they opened effortlessly and stayed in my hair all day. Now i need to use my teeth to get them open and the insides are just hard plastic "teeth". I'll get dollar store clips in the future and pay half the price for the same quality product. Don't waste your money.

I have been buying these for what 10yrs always my favorite so WHY did you take the nice smooth rubber on the inside that holds your hair well and replace it with super spikey things that stab you. These are absolutely horrible now please please bring back the old style of no slip clips in this size!

New clip design
I bought these thinking they would be just like my favorite version of clips. They rubber grip was the best part of this design and with the new design the clip is much harder to open. Will be returning please roll out both versions or go back to the the rubber grip. It really feels like this new design was a cost cutting measure.

Clearly Scünci has redesigned these clips in particular because they no longer have the silicone grip that held up to the “No Slip Grip” name. They are advertised per their description to contain a “silicone grip” that they no longer have. Would not purchase again unless they go back to the original design.

THEY CHANGED THEM
These are NOT the no slip grip clips I know and love. They removed the rubber and replaced them with teeth on the inside. They’re also much harder to open. The rubber ones are the ONLY ones that stay in my hair and I have no idea what I’m gonna do now. I hope I can find a different brand who makes them, or that Scunci brings them back. This is really disappointing. Also Target needs to remove the photos of the rubber ones if a different product is going to show up.

Not a fan of the redesign
The new design of the spring being enclosed has made these very difficult to open without them snapping closed and flying out of your hand. They are difficult to squeeze open and definitely kids or other people with less than very strong grip will struggle with these. They probably could hold your hair very secure while doing vigorous exercise.

They Changed
So disappointed they changed these claws. They used to have the grippy adhesive inside the claw, now they don’t! It’s just plastic “teeth”. Feels cheap and doesn’t hold all my hair in a bun like the originals did.

Perfect size. Holds the hair with the perfect amount of tension. Variety of colors. I’ve had mine for almost a year and haven’t had any of them break. Can be used in so many ways and styles.
