Q: I have not removed this from the box yet, but the ladder does not move up and down. The wheels move and the sound effects work, but the ladder does not move. Does it have to be taken out of the box or is this a defect?

To enable full functionality, the truck will need to be switched out of this mode. We also recommend replacing the batteries with fresh alkaline ones to ensure optimal performance. Dont purchase

We got it home- took it out of the box and put new batteries in it and turned it off the “try me” mode and were told it would start working and it didn’t. Hard to return when you have already taken it all out of the box. Won’t buy this brand again.

Defective controls

We received this as a gift from friends. However, it was defective and the controls did not work as intended. The siren was too sharp and froze intermittently. Adding new batteries did not help. Target was supportive in issuing a refund gift card.

Doesnt work

We’ve purchased 2 of these and neither of these work. The first one clicked but the ladder wouldn’t move and it wouldn’t roll forward. The second one would power on at all, even with new batteries. Would not recommend.

Work great once out of "Try Me" mode

This is my second attempt at ordering this for my 4 year olds birthday as the first one wouldn’t turn on even with new batteries. They absolutely love it! At first the ladder didn’t spin and then I realized we were in “Try Me” mode. Once I switched it to On the spin feature works perfectly! They are having a great time!

Great Fire Truck

Perfect for my 3 year old.
