At first I enjoyed using the liner but after about two applications, the tip is blunt. The inner liner is very soft so doesn't sharpen well, but the first few times went ok. Then a section of the inner liner fell out...it appears that the pencil must have been dropped some time ago, either during distribution or in the shop. No way to prove it wasn't me. Now the inner nib falls out all the time and you have to sharpen way down the pencil to get to a short bit of liner to use. Really not cost effective and extremely frustrating. I won't buy this again

I love these eyeliners! I bought almost every color. Eyeliner doesn’t usually last on me- even top brands. These stay put, have great color and coke off easily. I haven’t had to sharpen them yet though so hopefully that won’t be an issue!

Don’t listen to the reviews saying you can’t use it after 2 weeks lolol all you have to do is sharpen it. Make sure you have a good quality, sharp sharpener/ Rich color, long lasting and glides on smoothly.

I purchased the grey pencil and noticed sparkly flecks like glitter when I applied it. There is nothing on the package that indicates that. At 73 that's not the look I'm going for. And then I couldn't figure out how to roll up the pencil. You can't it's like a pencil, you have to sharpen it. With what, a regular pencil sharpener? I am returning this!!!

I have read several reviews with the same problem the eyeliner is great goes on smooth, but only lasted for about two weeks and then there was no point at the end of the liner pencil. I played around with it, took the white cap off at the end, stuck a Q-tip in there and slowly the gel type liner came out the top! You would think there would be something you would twist or turn to make the tip come out gradually?????

Tried this for the first time and initially LOVED it. Thought I'd found my ideal eyeliner. But after 2 weeks, no way to roll it up or sharpen it... It's basically useless now and too pricey to only last 2 weeks. Am I missing something??? Very disappointed.

I LOVED this product at first. EWG certified, affordable and wears great. After about my 6th use, the pencil kept breaking. I've shaved to a little less exposed and hoping that helps but if anyone has advice to keep it from breaking, I may purchase it again. I'll change my review I can find out how to keep it from breaking.

Goes on great, but terrible design. The answers to the questions about extending and sharpening must be for a different Almay product. To extend this one, you remove the white end cap and jam something down the tube to push more out. I find it is too soft to sharpen, but it’s very easy to use your fingers.

I am a contact lens wearer and it was virtually impossible to find an eyeliner for my waterline, Until I found the Almay All Day Intense Gel Eyeliner. This eyeliner is incredible, it does not irritate my eyes at all. The color is super bold and does not smudge one bit. The color in my photo is 140 Deep Chestnut.

I bought this eyeliner yesterday, thinking that it would be a perfect fit. I wanted a matte gray gel that would glide on easily and wouldn't bother sensitive eyes. When I tried it, I found that it was a gray metallic. When I tried to blend the gray, I ended up with sparkles above and below my eyes. Not exactly what someone 70+ is looking for. There was absolutely nothing in the description that would indicate that the product was metallic.

This liner goes on very, and the color is rich and stays put all day. The black has lasted me forever. I am planning a Target run for the gray and navy tomorrow. I’m confused by other reviews though— I have no idea why so many people can’t figure out how to sharpen it?? I have two basic eye pencil sharpeners, and they both sharpen this eyeliner just fine… so… don’t be deterred by all the negative “it only lasted a week” reviews!
