Almay Top of the Line Eyeliner - 0.01oz

I used the black raisin eyeliner for many years. It has been my go to shade. I have hazel eyes and it was the best.

I have used this eyeliner for 15 years. It pairs nicely with blue eyes and will allow for a little smudge at the end to create a winged look. However, from the last time I purchased this eyeliner to the one I recently purchased, Almay changed the formula. It’s now darker, difficult even creating the liner, and will not smudge at the tips to create a winged look. I’m very disappointed to nix what was once a staple in my make up routine.

As a middle aged woman, I still like to "wake up & make up", but I don't want to look like I'm trynig too hard or that I'm trying to look young & not doing a good job. I want to look refined & polished without a harsh color or hard lines. This is the answer. The product goes on smooth & lasts all day. It also washes off pretty easily with your favorite make up remover, whether a face wash or wipes, both work to easily remove the stays in place all day liner. It doesn't flake or have fall out & it doesn't smear, even after a decent cry. Menopausal women, I know you hear this! I've used Almay liner for years & started with their darkest black. I moved to the black-brown (or brown black??) a couple years ago & on a whim tried the brown. Currently, I'm loving the color of the brown & think it still makes my eyes pop without looking overdone or harsh.

an error, it was easy to erase. A joy to use. This new formulation is hard, does ot go on with a smooth line. The pencil breaks. It is horrible. Did you not do at least once focus group? If you had, you would never have brought this out because now, like most former users, I will find a new brand and I will never come back to you. You jhad be for over 20 years and now i am gone.

I really like Almay liner, but this brown was a little too light for my taste. Good quality, just not a fan of the color

I loved it until it needed sharpening and tried everything to peeling it down, putting it in a pencil sharpener, and shaving it with a knife! It just won’t sharpen! Sad, because I would love it except for that!

i don’t have this exact product, but i do have the almay gel eyeliner pencil. i only use eyeliner to tight line on my waterline and this eyeliner didn’t really last that long for me. i can say that if you like to smudge out your eyeliner, the smudges really easily and im pretty sure it’s waterproof. not a bad liner, but not for me.

FYI “pearl” means the color contains glitter. These are very comfortably to wear but smudge easily and will give you a stye if you do not cleanse well after wearing

The new penal with white tip makes my eyes burn and I cannot use it at all. I have used Almay for many many years because their liner was truly hypoallergenic and did not burn my eyes at all. I certainly hope they will read these reviews and understand they have make a mistake with doing away with the tried and true product they had before. I would love to see the old pencil back on the shelf!

so our team built one into this mechanical pencil (that also allows you to dial the tip of the pencil up and back down to keep that tip in top shape) Yea? Where and how. I can turn the end cap or pull it off to find a hidden sharpener. This product looks like it will work for about 4 uses and then go in the trash. Nice planned obsolescence.

How do you even sharpen??? I’ve used it three times and it’s rolled up inside. Doesn’t give any sign it’s out. Won’t buy again.

I have used Almay for so many years. Now it is a waste of my money and I won’t buy the pencil again. It will NOT go on smoothly. It’s caused me to tug at my very sensitive eyelids. Why why do you change a product that has been fabulous for years. I’m very disappointed. Will never buy again.

Very disappointed that Brown Topaz All Day Eyeliner is no longer available!! The other brown is not comparable at al! I’m switching to another brand.

When the first point was flat , the eyeliner was worthless. No way to get more gel eyeliner out of the product.

Long-wearing, doesn’t smudge & goes on smoothly

My wife has used this product for over 20 years. She LOVES it. Extremely hard to find locally in a store. We can find black pearl all day long. My daughter now uses it as well and she swears by it. Always a stocking stuffer.

Deserves NO stars. I have been using Almay for years- everyday use of the eyeliner because I have blonde hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. It had never given me problems until the new eyeliners came out. Just this week, I bought a new eyeliner to try, yet again, because Almay was the only one I've been able to wear. I tried a different color to see if it might be the pigments. It was the only makeup I wore to my son's wedding. I only wore it for about 2 hours and washed it off when I got home. The next morning my eyes were bloodshot and gummed up. I had to use a warm washcloth to get my eyes all the way open. REALLY?!!!!! Almay, I don't know what you did, but now I can't wear any makeup. Yours was the only one I could wear. Now I can't even use yours. I

This eyeliner is very easy to use. The color is beautiful and dark. And it doesn't make my eyes water 😊
