A: I would like to add to what the brand expert suggested by recommending that before applying the glue to the plastic underside of the nail, try sanding it beforehand, or, you could even use a fingernail file. The courser the grain would be better, in my opinion. I like the files specifically meant for acrylic nails. Sanding it will help the adhesive bond better as it will have 'something' to adhere to more than just a smooth surface. Sounds like a fun costume idea!
