Mateo Electric Fireplace with Mantel and Open Shelf, Black with Natural

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Electric Fireplace is a beast! It quickly heated up my family room that’s quite large. Instructions were pretty simple to follow and the lettered stickers really helped. I put it together within 20 minutes by myself. I love how it comes with a remote, making it easier to set from wherever you are in the room. Theres been some nights here that have not been too cold, and I just turned on the lights without the heat because I love looking at it. You can adjust the flame and led lighting functions, which was a nice touch. If you don’t want to use the remote, there is buttons on the front panel of it that you can control everything. I feel it looks very realistic and not cheaply made. It has a shutoff with timer as well that many of these electric fireplaces do not have. The temperature range is 64-82 degrees which is perfect! It’s 1400 watts and 4600 BTU’s. The mantel on top and bookshelf on the bottom is nice for extra storage. I personally like the oak colored mantel, and feel it goes well with the black. It will fit most home decor. The only negative I can say is the little stickers take some time to fully get off. Maybe putting them on the back where they won’t be seen would be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm very impressed with this fireplace. It was fairly straightforward to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. Pros: easy to put together, looks great, puts out a lot of heat, has a remote, easy to move around and compact. Cons: the top portion is a different color and I don't love the way it looks, there was one screw part that was disfigured so I'm hoping that doesn't affect anything structurally and the labeling stickers were challenging to take off. Despite a few minor cons, I would still highly recommend this fireplace. I'm excited to incorporate it into our decor!
