Q: Does this accept all brand of bags or only a certain brand of bags?

A: The vacuum sealer accepts different brands of bags but they must be textured vacuum sealer bags.

Q: Looks like any moisture gets collected in the tray that the bag opening should sit in/above. Does the tray come out? How easy/difficult is it to clean? Can any of the liquid (including stickiness or odor) get into the motor of the vacuum sealer?

A: Unfortunately the tray does not come out but there is a form lining that can be removed for easier cleaning. The liquid will be caught in the tray if any and will not get into the motor. The vacuum is not meant for liquids or and foods that are marinated.

Vacuum and sealer function button doesn't work like it should. "Oh it needs to be clean." "Oh, it needs to be completely sealed." "Oh, it needs to be done this and that." etc etc. For once, this needs to be taken off the market. It's just not functional and the "support" is quite sparse. I regret making a purchase when I went an extra mile to hunt for this specific model. Will -NOT- recommend for their support is in extreme poor structure.
Did not work at all after multiple attempts! Disappointed.

Read every review about this vacuum sealer before purchasing and was SO excited to have a working vacuum sealer (after researching about 20 different brands/options). We tried about 10+ times to seal 2lb portions of beef with several different bags and it would not seal. We even tried pressing the seal button again and there were still pockets where air was getting in. As soon as we would set it down on the counter the seal would break...so frustrating! We will be returning as soon as possible and digging out our food saver vacuum sealer. Very disappointed as this was a Christmas gift.

This compact vac sealer is fabulous.. have had it two days and it is a workhorse.. So easy to operate and can see where this will save HUNDREDS of dollars in wasted and spoiled foods.. not to mention because of the vacuum it gives so much more space in freezer! Have already highly recommended to friends .. a must have in all times and allows me to cut down on shopping times especially in the era of Covid-19 Amazing!
