$800 Watch that that doesn’t come with wall wart The Apple Watch Ultra 4 ships without a wall adapter. You get a cable and nothing else. At this price point, that is simply unacceptable. Apple knows most people already own chargers, but “most people” is not everyone, and even for those who do, the assumption feels tone-deaf at $800. A wall adapter costs Apple pennies at scale. The omission is a deliberate margin play dressed up as environmentalism. Three stars deducted purely for this. The watch itself is excellent. The missing charger brick is not a minor inconvenience – it is a statement about how little Apple values the out-of-box experience for premium buyers.

Not sure if it’s worth the price

Battery life was great at first, until I set it all up with the health app. Then it dropped to about half. Instead of the 2 days advertised it is more like one day. It also thinks I fell every time I pat my dog on the butt.

Pricey investment, worth it for me

Very happy with the Apple Watch Ultra 3! This is my third Apple Watch, after a series 3 and 7. TBH, I only bought this on a lark as I was prepared to spend considerably less on the series 11. That said, I’m really enjoying everything about the Ultra 3, from the added health functionality (way too much to mention it all) to the MASSIVE face that lets you add as much or as little as you like. The gestures are pretty awesome as well. Do the research if you’re on the fence (the Apple website is fairly comprehensive), I learned a lot there. I would very likely replace with another Ultra when it’s time.
