A: Yes, definitely has been fine in my front loader. Just don’t use too much detergent like I tend to! Scent is pretty light after drying your clothing FYI.

Cleans well, which is why I purchased this again after going back to powder detergent. The only thing is the scent is different to previous purchases. It used to smell like the European Ariel but now has a completely different scent. Not my favourite scent which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Target didn’t do the best job package this. The item spilled and permeated everything combined in the same package. Additionally, this powder detergent isn’t for HE machines. It foams up uncontrollably. You’d have to use a tiny bit in an HE, but I wouldn’t recommend it for front loaders.

Cleans very well similar to something like Tide. I like that it's concentrated and is sold in a simple thin plastic bag instead of a hard plastic container. The fragrance is pleasant but too strong and leaves your clothing strongly perfumed. I'd love to see an unscented or less scented version of this product in stores. Great job on the packaging and if you want to make it even easier on the environment, you could ship it to stores in bins allowing people to refill their own containers with a scoop.

This is a tremendous value. It is the discontinued powdered Cheer in the US market. The asterisk next to the "2x power" leads to a caption that states it is vs liquid Cheer. Used alongside Tide plus ultra oxi, the cleaning power appears on part. Outside of the US, Ariel is proctor and gamble's flagship detergent. The formulation overseas is different.

This is an excellent detergent. I'm allergic to Methylisothiazolinone, Octylisothiazolinone, and Cocamidopropyl betaine, which are present in most commercial liquid detergents and many powders as well. I switched to Ariel from liquid Tide (occasionally Seventh Generation) after my allergy diagnoses, but I'd be happy to use it anyway. In the 3 months of washing with it, I have not had a stain or a cleaning challenge that Ariel has not handled as well as Tide; this includes food smells and spots from cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and mud & oil from doing some emergency home repair. I love the smell! Some have complained that it's strong, and when you open the container (mine comes in a bag) it definitely is strong. However, the scent it leaves on clothes is milder, based on using 110 grams per regular wash. The price is good. For the amount I use per wash, it's working out to be much cheaper than the liquids I was using regularly before. In fairness, I was not using Tide powder, so I do not know how the powder-to-powder price compares, but Ariel powder is certainly cheaper per wash than Tide Extra liquid.

This powder detergent dissolves well, better than other powders I’ve used, even in cool water. It also cleans better than most other detergents, liquid and powder. The smell is nice - it is very similar to the Tide Pods original scent (and both made by P&G).
