ARM & HAMMER Advance White Extreme Whitening Toothpaste - 6oz/2ct

I used this for the first time and now my gums, tongue, and lips hurt. To add insult to injury it did not remove the stains from my front teeth, when my normal toothpaste does.

Good tasting toothpaste. I feel like it cleans my teeth well.

I used this toothpaste a few times and made my teeth nice and white and clean. But shortly after brushing my teeth last night, my lips started swelling and burning, and I noticed sores in my mouth and on my tongue. I rinsed my face and mouth well, and this morning I noticed that the roof of my mouth was tender and burned. Definitely this toothpaste. Will not use again.

Something is wrong with the formulation, I’ve used this toothpaste in the past and have never had an issue, but like others reviewed, this product has given me a swollen tongue, and my lips are chapped and peeling.

At first this product was great, I bought another tube. All of the sudden I had cracked lips, dermatosis, dry gums, and pain. I thought I was allergic to something I was eating. Went to the doctor had an ointment prescribed, worked for a day or two. Now after switching toothpaste and reading the reviews, I now know it was this toothpaste. This affected my daily life for months!

Wow! I thought i was the only one! It burned the inside of my lips I had to immediately rinse my mouth! Now I have a painful sore on the corner of my lips! Im putting Vaseline on my lips to help it heal. Its extremely uncomfortable. I read im not the only one. Sorry to hear others are expecting the same as me. Definitely not going yo use again. I thought I was just being sensitive and I needed to toughen up so ive used it every night nut I have to use a mouth wash after because the after tast is so bad... in mornings I use a different toothpaste it does not burn my mouth. I hope this review helps others thinking they are the only one experiencing burns.... also for the MFG to adjust the chemicals.

I've used this toothpaste for a few years. I think something is wrong with the latest batch. I bought a new tube in May and I've had the worst experience. Mouth is raw from skin sloughing off everyday. Lips are chapped.mouth is so dry. I'veost a lot of my taste buds. Not fun.

Ive used these products in the past and have never had issues. Until now, the inside of my mouth is irritated and swollen. Lips are dried out and have sore in the corners of my mouth.

Had been recommended by my hygienist and since using, have gotten positive feedback (and see the difference) on how much it minimizes buildup between bi-annual cleanings and keeps my teeth cleaner and brighter.

Used twice, both times swollen lips, irritation inside my mouth and rash on my chin. I do not recommend. Taste wasn't great as well. Not a good product in my opinion.

This toothpaste has been giving me mouth burns/a horrible rash on and off for 6 months. When I finally figured out what was causing the rash and burning on my mouth, I stopped using this product and the rash has not come back. This rash shows up days later and lingers for days after you stop using the toothpaste. It is very painful. Highly recommend NOT using this product. Awful awful awful.

I’ve used Arm & Hammer Advance White before without issue. This latest tube of toothpaste has given me swollen lips and mouth, dry cracking skin in the corner of my mouth, sores along my gum line and itching around my face. I stopped using it for two weeks and tried it again to make sure this was the culprit and my symptoms returned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WARNING! This has caused SEVERE IRRITATION to my lips and tongue. My lips are very SWOLLEN (exactly like a Botox reaction looks), CHAPPED around the edges, canker SORES in the corners, and NUMB LIPS. My tongue and the interior of my lips are very DRY and numb. I noticed this REACTION after using a pea-sized amount on my toothbrush every couple of days, alternating with my regular, plain old Crest toothpaste. I need to call my dentist so he is aware of this issue, because it was recommended by him and a sample was given to me. This looks and feels like a bee sting or Botox gone wrong! It's painful, uncomfortable, and something is VERY DANGEROUS WITH THIS PRODUCT, DO NOT USE!

I unfortunately had an allergic reaction, can barely open mouth for a week now because of how badly my lips reacted to this product. I noticed it would sting my lips everytime I brushed but I loved how my teeth felt. Then I woke up with inflamed lips that soon turned to sore corners of my mouth which I’m scared will scar. if possible would like a refund

It works great on keeping your teeth white. But completely burned the inside of my lips, lip itself is constantly peeling and the side my mouth hurts. My mouth is always completely dried.

BEWARE. I decided to try this product to see if it would be better than the toothpaste I usually use - huge mistake. I had the reactions so many other reviews list - the inside of my mouth is so raw and sensitive, my lips are incredibly chapped and everything is so DRY. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before. I thought I had burned my mouth on something spicy, but after it wasn’t going away, I grew increasingly suspicious of the toothpaste. It’s been a few days and I’m feeling a bit better but wow. Never thought I would be here writing a review about TOOTHPASTE but I felt compelled to add my thoughts.

please do not get this toothpaste. i think i had a chemical reaction to this and it peeled my gums and now i have about 30 canker sores and it hurts to drink, eat, talk, and brush my teeth. please don’t just it just in case the same happens to you. it’s been about a week since this chemical reaction happened and i’m am in as much pain as when it happened. i used this toothpaste for about 2 weeks and noticed some peeling but brushed it off (bad idea) and now here i am with 30 canker sores under my tongue and gums.
