Q: The surface of the inner pot is not smooth, and the white colored spots in it feel like peeled off coating. So how could you tell if the non-stick coating is wearing off or it is the actual coating?

Chips!!

Does the job and is a great price b it started chipping two years in! Definitely not chip resistant like they say. I’d recommend spending more on a stainless steel cooker.

sent the terrible returned damaged items and very disappointing

I didn't realize this was refurbished item when I ordered it. I checked my order comfirmation and I found out that it was refurbished but I was thinking how bad can it go round from big name Target company will send. Target always have good name and customer service.. Oh boy... I was wrong... they sent the damaged falling apart pieces (the pot can't even stand it own after taking out of the box). very disappointing because they sold the returned item without checking simple hardware look...
