Be careful. Using colloidal oatmeal on the skin of and eczema-prone baby can cause oatmeal allergies. It happened to us without warning. If your very young child has eczema, be careful. Perhaps this is soothing at first but my baby now breaks out when eating oatmeal. We started this before solids. This goes for every brand that uses oatmeal. Rubbing it into the skin caused an extra allergen in my child. Do not recommend for babies.

This jar goes a long way! I use this daily for my eczema prone baby. Her eczema has actually cleared. We were given topical steroid for her but I stepped and decided to give this a try and after about a week I saw a significant improvement in her skin. We’ve been using this daily for a little over 3 months and her skin is clear! Was it just infantile eczema that was only for a short time or did this actually work? I decided to give this product a shot. Day 1, I started with applying it every 4 hrs or so. It looked better the next day. Day 4, I applied it 2 times a day. Day 7, I applied it at only night.
