A: On November 5, answering a question, the brand expert said you can NOT use it for bagels! What’s the real answer??
submitted byJojo - 10 months agoA: Page 9 of the manual says: "The bread slot is to be used for toasting regular bread slices only. Do not use the toaster to toast irregular shaped bread or round bread." I will anyway, probably. :-)

Q: Hi. When I tried to toast a very thin bagel, it instantly smelled like it was burning. I stopped the machine for fear of setting off my smoke alarm. I then tried without bread and it happened again.

I wish I’d have read the reviews before I bought this. Yet another customer here either the same issue of the tray/lever not catching when you push it down. My husband threw the box and everything away before anyone used it so I can’t even return it. We’ve legit been holding down the lever while it toasts smh until I find one I can trust.

We have only used it a few times. Probably would give it 5 stars. I have used my Bella for bagel, pop tarts and toast. Worked great! The outside stayed cool and it tucks away under the sink in our little travel trailer. I love the plum color.

This toaster as others here have also said, only worked a few weeks before the heating element quit working on one side! It's worthless now. I've had this toaster for about 3-4 weeks and it is now going in the trash. Buyer beware!! I definitely do NOT recommend this brand.
