A: Page 9 of the manual says: "The bread slot is to be used for toasting regular bread slices only. Do not use the toaster to toast irregular shaped bread or round bread." I will anyway, probably. :-)

I wish I could give this 5 stars because I love the narrow profile and I feel like it's pretty enough to leave out on my counter but it does not toast evenly! Even if I only put one slice of bread in, one edge is always burnt, and if I put 2 pieces in, one slice is not toasted, one slice is burnt. Very disappointing!

I don't know what the other people are complaining about.
We love this toaster!! It's slim (attractive feature #1) and it toasts our bread consistently in the way we want, and in a timely manner (like less than 1 min...before I come back with the butter from the fridge, it's done...) seriously, what more could we ask for??? what more are people needing from a TOASTER? I don't know what people are complaining about. We've had ours for a year almost and no problems. We also love the color. Stainless steel is just ...not as cute as this oatmeal color.

This is the second Bella Toaster I’ve purchased. Great wide & long slot, for my homemade Bread; even toasting. Loved the first one bought for the Cabin, had to have one for the house, to replace my horrible and expensive KitchenAid toaster.

Was very excited about the slim toaster but when we unboxed and used it smelled like burning plastic… the body is plastic which seems to be a design flaw. Not sure if it fades over time but I don’t plan to use it in my house long enough to find out.

Toaster Settings
I set the dial for 4 minutes to start off and the toast burned. I ended up going down to 2 in order to get a piece of bread to toast light brown as desired. Anything above that number burns the bread.

I have a tiny kitchen-every inch of counter space is accounted for and this toaster fits. I also have celiac disease and breads made without wheat flour can be oddly shaped, but this toaster accepts all shapes and sizes.

Plum is the way to go to add color to your kitchen
I just received my bella 2-Slice slim toaster in plum. It is so pretty and adds a pop of color in my kitchen. It goes so well with my hammered copper decorations. So glad it was on sale for Black Friday!! The best part is the easy dial to get the right color on my toast. My setting is between 3 and 4. Perfection!!
