A: Page 9 of the manual says: "The bread slot is to be used for toasting regular bread slices only. Do not use the toaster to toast irregular shaped bread or round bread." I will anyway, probably. :-)

Q: What is the warranty period? It broke after only 3.5 months. When you lower the bread to the heaters it pops right up again so the toaster won't toast.

I loved this toaster. Too bad it only lasted 6 months before the lever broke. Wont be purchasing again, also not surprised because it was less than $20 but still wish it had a longer life. It’s also not fixable because the bottom of the toaster is screwed in with a triangular prong that doesn’t come in just your basic tool kit.

My 4th piece of toast, and it broke. I had to hold the lever down and only half the activate. "Cancel" button won't activate either so really cheap control unit. Great price and it looks really nice, but I would avoid.
