Lasts for 1 month
I had the same experience a lot of people had with this toaster. It's cute, but toasted unevenly from the start. The bottom of the toast would burn. Also, the lever stopped functioning after one month of use even though I kept the crumb tray clean.

Died After One Month
Great price, crappy quality. It died after one month of daily use. But, I guess that's only $0.66 a day, so a bargain, right? Even though it has a dial, it basically had two settings, barely toasted and almost burnt. Ignore the picture, bread that thick actually won't fit in it -- we tried. The picture with the bread must be AI-generated. If you stick a piece of bread in that thick, you have to jam it in because it hits the mechanism. The mechanism is narrower than the opening. What you see in that picture is an abnormally narrow bread loaf, because two pieces of bread from a normal sized loaf won't even fit side by side. It's completely misleading. The only high ratings for this toaster are from people who just got it.

Not built to last
I loved it up until now. The bread will not stay down when I push the lever. I bought it 9 months ago and now it’s not working. My previous toaster I had for 29 years and no problems until the coils stopped working last year. Appliances are not built to last anymore.

If you like ends of your toast burned, buy this!!
From the first time I used this, the toaster burns the ends of every single piece of bread I try to toast. Dial on a lower level and turning the toast results in the same thing if I toast on a highter level without turning. Recent reviews share same problem. Will return
