    Fire Hazard

    I tried to play nice. I emailed the company that makes this toaster and explained the hazard with this toaster, before writing this review. I put 2 pieces of toast in and lowered the rack that holds the bread and continued making the rest of breakfast. While my back was turned the toast popped up but only one slice, the other slice did not pop up because the rack was out of the guide and sloping downward below the slot so the other piece did not pop up. The toaster continued toasting until it was black as the ace of spades and smoking. I ran over and tried to manually pop it up and the rack would not come up. I had to pull the plug and throw it out the door. Had I not caught it, the toaster likely would have caught fire. I told the company this in my email and got an auto-response saying they will be in touch. That was three weeks prior to this review and I still haven't heard from them. I had also purchased one for my mom who lives in an assisted living facility. I had to take it away from her because I'm not sure she would be able to react quickly enough if this happened with hers. This toaster is a fire hazard and should be recalled.

    All good until it ain't!

    Broke after a few months. Bummed

    I’m so bummed. I loved this toaster but it broke after just a few months. I see everyone else is complaining of the same thing. They really need to look into this cause it’s a great color and worked great when it actually worked.

    Cute but stopped working

    Cute design but only owned a bit over 1 year and it pops up after a few seconds. It won’t toast unless you hold down the lever. Also, cannot fit 2 large bread slices.
