These are the worst containers. For some reason the lids get stuck all the time. In the process of trying to open the container the top shattered. I am lucky I didnt cut my hand.

Don't bother
Wouldn’t open and had to throw the container out, food and all. Contacted the company and they said they would send me a replacement of the new and improved container set ( apparently the original was discontinued) but have been waiting since December. They keep changing the availability date for the new set. They most likely discontinued them because of this problem and they should be more accommodating to customers who spent their money on these.

Complete disappointment
I have wanted a set of Bentgo storage/food prep containers for many months. I have the salad container and the kids chill lunch box which I absolutely love, so I finally decided that I would start to buy the food containers. Unfortunately. I was only able to use it twice before the lid of the container broke. The first time, no issues. The second time the lid stuck and it was extremely difficult to remove. The third time the lid cracked and broke. So disappointing.

Beautiful and NON-functional
These are beautiful to look and absolutely horrid to actually use. I was so excited they were on sale so I bought multiple boxes and thought they were so so pretty. Now I’ve wasted so much money. The tops will not come off once put on and break off. Wasted food. Wasted Money. Don’t buy these.

Imploding Glass
Please be aware that the glass may implode in your face if you do not remove the top even though it is very hard to remove at times. I thought I'd love this product until it blew up in my face & ruined my lunch.

Lid issue
This product is okay. It cleans well and hold any food or liquid inside a little too well. If you put food in the container, and place it in the fridge, if it build up condensation (which most foods will) it’s impossible to open. In order to fix this problem, you have to put a paper towel over the food before you close the container. If you forget to put the paper towel over, your out of luck.

The top was hard to get off. Before microwaving I lifted the closures and after I went to sit at my desk before I could take the top off it exploded in my face.

Consider Shopping Around Before Buying These
I bought two sets of these containers during the winter months, and was excited to have nice containers. However, these containers often seal shut to where it is near impossible to open. I have no idea on how to fix this ultra-vacuum seal, but it seems like I am not the only one to have this struggle. It's frustrating (and usually painful) to get these open, and tonight one of the flaps on the lid broke off. :(

Would not recommend, been using these for the past couple of months and today the lid exploded in my office. It sent glass all over the place. Lucky I wasn't looking to close or would have had glass in my face. This product needs to be recalled, as it's not tempered and send shattered glass everywhere.

Do not recommend this meal container. The seal is very tight and it’s very difficult to remove the lid. It’s frustrating waiting to eat lunch on lunch break and I can’t remove the lid spending half of lunch break trying to get to your food. No!

This product with a glass lid is not good, it explodes when you put hot food in it. Apart from the fact that they are expensive, they are useless.

The worst food container I've ever experienced
Never had a problem with any food containers I've ever used. This brilliant product will suction itself sealed shut and then becomes almost impossible to open. How does a monumental design flaw like this pass the QA process? If you guys love shattered glass in your food, then this is the perfect product for you

I bought this set from Costco, and I put warm soup and leave it in the room temperature, it exploded by itself. So dangerous.

Unsafe Product!
We bought these several months back because we really enjoye storing our meals in glass containers as they are easier to clean. This is the second time this happens to us. Food was warmed up and lid was over laid while my husband walled back to his office. The lid got stuck and he was afraid to open it. It remained stuck after a lo g while so he decided to clasp the three sides. The lid shattered!

Thought these would be great but cannot open
I just bought these to replace plastic containers I've had and they seemed great! Unfortunately, however, because the lid is also primarily glass, there is no way to 'wriggle' the lid to loosen it and it's just suctioned on top. I called support and they tried to help, but basically the advice was to just wait for a bit (presumably, so that the temperature would equilibrate enough that the suction would release?). I haven't had luck opening it fifteen minutes later and I'm hungry for lunch. Bummer.
