peeling bottom
I bought this in the large size I am disappointed in the quality Despite the fact that it says it is dishwasher safe the bottom is peeling off I chose these product hoping for better quality I do have the glass storage containers amd are more pleased with the quality of those

These work great for bulk cooking. You can freeze portions and microwave them later, and it's more durable than glass.

Great container, just be mindful of the seal!
This is a neat little container, I love how sturdy it is, but the lid will not hold up to a nosy little cat looking to steal your food. I got the "snack" size (pink) and imo it holds enough food for a meal, especially with only a 30 min lunch break (nursing student). I also like how clean it feels bc it is stainless steel and is very lightweight and durable. I appreciate more that I don't have to worry about melting plastic or smells/stains sticking, either. The only problems I have is that the lid on the container is not hard to put on, but if you're not careful with it, it will not properly seal and can be prone to leaks. Also, bc of that, it could lift up and open partially if you stuff it in your bag the wrong way. Food doesn't get heated too well in the container for me, but I account that for the fact that it's so tall and the microwave realistically doesn't heat well in such situations unless mixed 1-2x when reheating. I reached out to Bentgo's customer service team to buy just a new lid; they exceeded my expectations and I'm beyond happy with their service team.

Yay stainless in the microwave!
Bought the 2 cup & 3 cup containers as a lighterWeight alternative to my usual glass lunch containers which have, after 4 years, have no more tabs on the plastic lids. I use these Bentgos 5 days a week for lunch at work. The 2cup is truly a snack portion while the 3cup is a perfect meal portion. The silicon lids are great so far and act as a hotPad for removing the heated dish from the microwave. I made a felt cozy for the 3cup container to help insulate the metal postHeating, but it’s not really needed. The problem with the 3 cup Bentgo is it is way too deep to heat the food in a microwave— even glass containers suffer from this problem. I stir the food multiple times during heating and there are always cold spots. I would buy many more of these stainless containers IF they were made shallower.

Great stainless steel option
I love the option of a stainless steel container that you can microwave. Perfect size for a small lunch. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wish the lid stayed on a bit tighter. It held the food in, but in transport in a lunchbox I would be worried it would potentially come off.

Not happy at all. It only heats up the top food when heating it up in microwave. The bottom part stays cold.

Be aware
I really wanted to love this but it turned out pretty terrible. Dinner size holds a great amount of food. One you can smell the food through the container, I’ve only used solid foods so not sure about leaks. Secondly when microwaving it food does not heat up correctly. I’ve used it on 4 minute temp and the bottom half is cold while the top half is so over heated that it’s a crisp. I’m unsure if it’s due to the time amount I need to use it that the container is extremely hot when coming out the microwave or this product was not tested out. I’m giving it three stars because the customer service was great, they helped me out and even gave me some pointers but eventually I got a refund.
