Q: Will it pick up cat litter? is the suction strong enough?
A: Yes we've had ours for about a year and pretty much all we use it for is picking up crystal kitty litter and it works great for that!

Q: Does this vacuum work well picking up pet hair/fur?
A: I have a lot of hair. Unfortunately? My medication makes it fall out. I have shoulder length brown hair. That said I see hair everywhere in my bathroom. This bissle vacuum is a must have. Top notch suction. Picks up everything if it’s not too big obviously. It gets my hair, outdoor things my dog brings in the house like little leaves stuck in his fur, and yes, pet hair. No regrets on this product at all. Plus! I’m disabled and I have limited energy and left arm/hand mobility. This vacuum is so awesome for me. Great for the hard surfaces instead of sweeping. Empty the thing after each use and clean filter too. I just lather a very little bit of dawn in my hand, massage the filter clean, rinse, let air dry. I’d marry this thing if I could. The only reliable thing in my world that works! Lol! 😀

Q: Is the filter and the base washable?
A: Hi Leslie! Yes—the filter on the BISSELL Featherweight Stick Vacuum (model 2033M) is washable. Just make sure it’s completely dry before putting it back in. The base (or floor nozzle) isn’t designed to be washed, but you can wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Let us know if you need help with cleaning tips!

Q: How do I remove the feet so I can use it as a stick vacumn?
A: Hi JO! To use the BISSELL Featherweight 2033M as a stick vacuum, just attach the floor nozzle to the main body and leave the foot (or base) on—no need to remove it. If you want to switch to handheld mode, simply detach the handle and floor nozzle. It’s designed to convert easily between modes! Let us know if you need help with anything else.

Q: Can this vacuum be used as a replacement of a traditional broom on vinyl flooring?

Q: How do you empty it.. how do you know when it needs to be emptied
A: We recommend emptying the dirt tank after every use. While the machine is OFF and vertical, press the dirt tank release below the power switch, and pull the dirt tank away from the rest of the machine. Visit support.bissell.com for additional product support.

Q: does the head swivel?
A: The foot of the BISSELL Featherweight Lightweight Stick vacuum rotates up and down to ensure the suction path stays flat on the surface being cleaned. The head does not swivel from side to side.

Q: Can you turn the beater brush off?
A: The brush roll rotates when the machine is powered on and the foot is connected. The brush roll wont spin when the machine is being used in hand-held mode. However, when the foot is connected it will always rotate.

Q: Does this have a HEPA filter?
A: Thanks for checking, Mylah! The BISSELL Featherweight Stick Vacuum (2033M) does not have a HEPA filter. It comes with a standard washable filter that’s easy to maintain, but it’s not designed to trap fine allergens like a HEPA filter would.
