Q: How do you know when the oven has reached the desired temperature.?

A: Thank you for your question, love. The toaster oven does not feature an audible signal for when the toaster oven has reached the desired temperature. We advise allowing five minutes for the toaster oven to preheat.

submitted byscubabob33 - 8 years agoA: Internal heating element glows red and cycles on and off as the oven heats. One can see the element glow through the oven window. After a period of perhaps 5-10 minutes, the heating element glow will stop cycling on and off as steady-state temperature is reached. This is the time to slide in the tray with food. A conventional oven has an "oven" indicator light that will shut off once the set temperature is reached. The toaster oven does NOT have a such an indicator light. So it is a bit of a judgment call to decide when the oven has reached its set point.

A: Thank you for your question. All of our current toaster oven models have a zinc coated interior. Zinc coating is durable and contributes to heat and IR energy distribution. Non-stick coating was replaced with zinc coating for most of our models in the later part of 2011.

I had the air fryer one in the past and thought i was reordering the same product as it is shown with an airfry basket. I received the toaster oven today no fry basket and no fry function. I no longer live anywhere near a target for easy returns and had already destroyed the box before I realized that it was not the correct product. Misleading product portrayal.

The product is functional and works fine in a pinch, but I was disappointed to find that the wire basket—clearly shown on the packaging and website—was not included. I even reached out to the manufacturer for clarification, but unfortunately, it wasn’t resolved. Additionally, the included baking pan is much smaller than the unit itself, which limits its usability. If you’re considering this item, I recommend seeing it in person first to make sure it fits your needs. Personally, I wouldn’t purchase it again, but it might work well for someone looking for a very basic, compact option.

Bought a Black and Decker toaster oven 7 years ago and it was of great quality. Never had an issue. This new purchase was a replacement. I order it online and when I opened it I was very disappointed. The quality was low. The look was cheap and the materials were cheap compared to 7 years ago. Disappointed that the quality of the materials changed significantly. Would never buy this brand again unless the manufacturer uses better materials. I guess it's a way to have a higher profit margin.

I purchased the toaster I thought it will work the same way as the one I had before but, the temperature control is too high. when it's on toast it burns the bread bagel whatever it is that we put in there. It burned it to the point where it almost destroyed my kitchen thank God, the safety control shut down the electricity. I will never buy it again

No matter what setting it's on, it burns the edges of the bread to a crisp before the center is toasted. I didn't want a big toaster oven that air fried, made cake, baked a 50 inch pizza. I just wanted to make toast, warm things up, maybe melt some cheese. Had a $15 Hamilton beach for years and years that made great toast, so I wasn't concerned that this was cheap. Not sure if it's worth returning.

This toaster oven is a good straight forward toaster oven that can be used for simple toasting but also bake small dishes. I was surprised to find that it doesn't include the basket that is shown in the stock photo. This does not have a convection function, which is fine with me. Good for making toast and reheating things like pizza. Also good for baking a few cookies at a time.

I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before buying this. Like others have mentioned, this is a fire hazard. The rack is too close to the hearing tube and so within a few minutes toast begins to burn, and smoke starts to come out. This should be pulled off the market
