BLACK+DECKER Crisp 'N Bake Air Fry Counter Convection Toast Oven, 6-Slice, 5-in-1, 12' Pizza, Bake, Broil, Air Fry, Toast, Keep Warm, Stainless Steel

I have received the replacement toaster oven to replace the previous one that failed to heat adequately. Unfortunately, this one also does not heat to proper temperatures. The manual states that the airfry mode should be 425° but it only reached 400°. Also, the oven was set to 450° and the temperature only reached 375°. Is this a flaw in this model of toaster oven? I love the product itself for look and proper functionality. I put my oven thermometer in my own oven to make sure it was recording accurately.

When it was time for a new one it was a no question which one I would buy. I love all the improved features.

I haven't used it yet for more than toasting bread and air frying chicken legs and potato wedges; both types of cooking have been a convenient breeze. I'm still learning its temperature/time ratios but that's just part of the cooking adventure with new appliances. I love how minimal and industrial it looks and its analog system is practical and intuitive, just like the old school toaster oven I was replacing. Black & Decker, please never stop offering analog models!

I have had this toaster oven Crisp n Bake Pro for a few months now. I got it to replace my counter oven which quit working. So far I have used every feature but the air fryer and it has performed better than I expected. My small baking pans fit it perfectly. I really like the fact that it has nobs instead of push buttons. The size is perfect if you have limeted counter space. Will try the air fryer later but so far it has been an excellent buy.

Dials are troublesome to turn, air fried worked good then seams to slow down Heats up fan runs, unit is clean, but it takes well over an hour to cook French fries now?? All other features work as they should

A 12" pizza would pouch the front and back. Extremely hot on the outside.

This was a huge waste of money. Air fryer takes a good 40 mins to make fries and even than most are still soggy, oven heat is a joke. Should have just bought an actual air fryer and toaster, would have saved so much time and probably money but figured this would be perfect for camping having basically 3 in 1 but rather deal with multiple appliances than just 1 with how bad it is. I giving two because it does work but you better have a good hr or so for your French fries or chicken nuggets to warm up and get crispy.

I love everything about this item. I love the size. I love the performance. I love the color. I love the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing product , it is not to big or cumbersome on the counter top and fits right in with my stainless steel appliances and it is so versatile I can bake a pizza in it and also do my air frying and use it just like my kitchen oven but not having to heat the kitchen up with usage. Excellent product a d I highly recommend it .

the controls are a little confusing until you get used to them. Toasts nicely; air fryer too. Wish the door had a vent position, but like the Big viewing area

We have had Black &Decker toaster ovens since they first came out. Had to replace old model which i used for every thing including best steaks.. The new airfryer model is horrible. The dials are hard to read, the timers are useless,the wide spacing on rack let's muffins fall through, all my previous racks &trays don't fit. I have yet to get a decent slice of toast. My old model everything was perfect every time

It’s the right size for our needs, much less costly than similarly sized competing toasters and convection toasters, and has manual control knobs which we prefer to digital controls. In air fryer mode it actually is a 425 degree F fixed temperature convection oven — which we find very useful. Would be more functional if there were another wire rack (so 2 racks could be used simultaneously for toast). Also would be more functional if the air fryer temperature could be adjusted.

I like the convenience of a smaller oven - although the control knob is big enough, the directions or guides (numbers and letters) are very hard to read. You could print them in a larger BOLD print which would make the whole experience that much easier.

Purchased to replace the smaller version that was used for 5+ years. Very satisfied!

I bought this toaster oven about a 1 1/2 years ago. It's small size takes up minimal space on the counter top, and it came with a removable, wire rack, a thin metal crumb tray, a metal mesh rack and a thin solid metal rack that fits inside the mesh rack for cooking or storing. The two dials are easy to grasp and turn to the desired setting, though the printed settings are hard to see due to their locations around the dials and small print. There are two heating elements; one on top and one on bottom, both protected by a metal covering with holes from end to end. The oven and racks are easy to clean with soap and water, though they did get scorched over time. I've kept the solid metal rack covered with foil for easier cleaning which works great. The oven is curved at the back for pizzas, but it doesn't come with a pizza rack. The oven heats up quickly. The furnished mesh rack is only large enough for two slices of bread, so I'm not sure why the oven marketing states the oven can cook four slices. Even the photos of toast inside the oven on the Black and Decker website for this model show that there is only room for two slices of bread. Maybe there is another, larger rack that can be purchased separately, but I didn't have that or look for one. When cooking bread for toast, the oven cooks very unevenly. The top browns faster than the bottom, and unevenly on the top, so if you want both sides browned with burning the top, you have to turn the toast over part way through toasting. I tried toasting croutons once. That was interesting! I placed them in the over on the toast setting, stepped away for about 30 seconds, came back and they were charred completely black. When I opened the oven door, the croutons caught fire. The fire went out when I closed the door, but it restarted again when I opened the door again. I had to pull the rack out quickly and toss the rack and croutons in the sink to put the fire out. I tried the air fryer function a few times, also with poor results. When trying to air fry a few different items, every time, they overcooked and became hard and inedible after only a very short time. Everything was so dried out and over cooked it was hard. The bake function worked fine for small personal size frozen pizzas. It cooked them perfectly in the amount of time stated on the instructions on the pizza box. Now, after only 1 1/2 years, while trying to fix some toast, the heating elements suddenly stopped working. I could smell what seemed to be burning wires or something similar, so I unplugged the oven and tossed it out since it no longer works. For the low price, I supposed it's fitting that the oven wouldn't be top quality, but cooking toast evenly should be a basic function that I would expect to work correctly. The other functions overall were a disappointment as well, except for the baking function for frozen pizzas. I'd like to have been able to use it for more, but after the poor results from the other attempts to use the oven, I learning early on that, like most things, you get what you pay for. Now that the oven has quit working, I'll upgrade to a better quality one with the hope that it will do what I want it to do and last longer.
