I love it! It cuts through my shrubs like butter. I'm a 69 year old woman and found it easy to use and not at all heavy.
Good for one season (maybe)

I used it brand new on 160' of hedges. It does NOT cut 3/4" limbs at all and after 160' it can nolonger cut 3/8" stems. Cheap steel blade. I'd replace the blade if they'd have designed it that way.

Thrilled with the battery operated Hedge Trimmer. Much lighter than name brand metal clippers. No arm fatigue after 45 minutes of use. Goes great with the rest of my 20V Black & Decker tools. Multiple interchangeable batteries mean I never run out of power.
No more cord to cut

Like it a lot. Have only used it once but did a big job cutting blackberry vines and brush on the other side of my fence which contains a vacant lot chocked with brus trees and blackberry vines. If i don't keep them trimmed three to four feat from my fence, the reach over the fence and grow into the soil. The hedge trimmers did a quick job of cutting them back without having to use my cumbersome trimmer which takes a 100 foot cord to reach. In the fall when I have to get up on a ladder to trim my yew trees, I won't have the haste of dragging a cord around and trying to worry about cutting through it.

Would have been nice to know that battery is not included. Purchasing a battery and charger is another $40 at least. It worked fine on small shrubs

This was my 1st 20V MAX product. I now own four. I was impressed right away with the lightness and the size of wood branches I could cut. I keep my blades running smooth with WD40 or spray silicone. I've helped friends with this puppy by trimming their properties and I keep my own stuff trimmed up more often cuz it's so easy to grab this and not have to deal with cords or gas motors. Love it !

I'm reviewing the Black and Decker 20V Max Cordless Hedge Trimmer - 22 inch model (LHT2220B) Pros: Cuts well. Love it being cordless Balanced Decent price Cons: No trigger lock like my previous hedge trimmer. To turn it on, you must slide a stiff switch with your thumb and hold it while you squeeze the grip. This safety overkill feature becomes a real aggravation if you have a weak thumb/hand or have lots of trimming to do. It starts to hurt after many iterations. Instead of a clunky slide switch, an ergonomic design would be to provide a low resistance electric button or LED sensor that is easily activated with a light press of the thumb. It is worth the extra cost to have a design that causes no pain after repeated use. In the mean time, I personally 'improved' my trimmer to eliminate thumb pain.
Works great and does the job!

I had some concerns about how long the battery would last, but it actually worked well for all my bushes. (and I have a lot) The hedge trimmer is lightweight and very easy to use. Also, it was great not having to drag out an extension cord. (I had accidentally cut a few cords with the old hedge trimmer)

I previously owned a B&D Hedge Hog with a cord. After cutting many cords over the years and having to drag out the cord reel every time I trimmed the hedge, I decided I would try a battery trimmer. What a great decision! I find the battery powered trimmer light, powerful, and long lasting on battery power. I should have purchased one long ago!

I bought this hedge trimmer about 5 months ago and I love it! I have a lot to trim around my house and used hand shears (also Black & Decker) or electric trimmers in the past. This trimmer is easy to use and has enough power and endurance to allow me to complete all the trimming with one battery charge. Although, I use the hand shears for small jobs, this trimmer is vital for larger jobs and is a big time saver.
