Not as strong as I expected

I would expect a blender this pricey with an 1800 watt motor to be able to handle a lot! My Nutribullet handled my shakes better. No smell or burning out warning saying it was "overloaded." I am very wary of this blender as I've had 2 other "refurbished" models that burned out really fast with just a few frozen strawberries and brocolli! This has already warned me of "overload" and has an electrical burn smell just by doing a regular shake cycle. What is that all about?? I am thinking I made a mistake and need to get a blender that has no problem handling a few frozen berries and veggies. This one is unexpectedly cheap and buggy.

I live in an RV and I previously owned the normal classic blendtech. But the buttons stopped working but soup and it was 13 years old. So I got an email about black friday sale and said YES! It really is so quiet! I can't hear it from outside, I can leave windows and doors open and not bother neighbors and it doesn't wake up the toddler!! I LOVE IT! So worth it!!! Worth worth worth it! I do miss the blender counting the uses out of it. I loved that detail about my last one. My last one had over 7k uses.

Worth the money

This blender outperformed my expectations… I have a blendtec 575. I wanted something that was quieter, I can close the lid and continue a conversation in the kitchen. That wasn’t the case with my 575. Also worth noting is the consistency of my protein shakes are soooo much better I assume it’s from the more powerful motor. But it’s a game changer imo. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the 800 bucks. I would say easily.

So far, so fantastic! It is wonderfully quiet and powerful. We are a couple of months in and have used daily for smoothies and many times a week on top of that for hummus, cheese sauces, soups and more.

Blends well and quietly. Why do I have to put at least 50 characters in this Review text though?

Poorly assembled blender and housing

Would not recommend
LTN Ameris - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
The blender motor was loosely secured, rattling right when I first removed the unit from is packaging. The sound enclosure came warped with jagged edge which shredded the rubber seal.. When I called Blendtec support, one of their senior representative claimed that they never heard of the problem before when I discussed about the poorly assembled sound enclosure and motor. Until they fix their quality control issue, I would suggest that you stay away and save your money. Buy a different brand since Blendtec’s quality control has definitely gone downhill in recent years.

Keeps burning itself up

Sadly I'm on my fourth or fifth (lost count) replacement blendtec pro 800. They have all burned themselves out when the hot soup mode was used, filling my kitchen with burned electronics smells. I had high hopes for this blender but I'm tired of the insanity with the constant burning out. https://photos.app.goo.gl/HHdRJTb5KyKyVxpt9

Poor quality of factory assembly.

The sound enclosure is very very poorly assembled. They have sent me two and both very poorly put together. The Blendtec labels were glued on crooked as well on both sound enclosures and motor bases. Where is the factory quality control? I just want a full refund.

Even better blending, AND quieter!! ❤️

The noise reduction is significant! I still Own a Blendtec that I’ve had for > 10 years and added this because as we eat WFPB, our blender is frequently used (including the twister jar) and certain times the noise is an issue. Now we’ve addressed that! We purchased this because we are huge Blendtec fans! We do own a 2nd home which will now get our “oldie, but goodie” one. The smoothness of our smoothies/sauces is ahhhmazing with this even better version! Kudos to the Nlendtec designers and team from one of your biggest fans!! ❤️

I like the blender quite well and have no complaints about its operation. I give it four stars because it came with almost no information and not recipes. I don't like searching on line to get answers.
