Total waste of money. Every time I try to turn on this camera, it just spins endlessly and never connects. The device is placed right next to the WiFi, so that’s not the issue. In short: save yourself the frustrations, skip this product.

live view issues
I bought this to be able to keep an eye on my dog when hes out in backyard and for in the house when I'm not home. i mainly use the "live view" which often has issues connecting, times out or freezes. this is my main frustration with them. The video quality is fine but night vision could be better.

Tech support was unable to resolve an Android Google
Blank was unable to have a successful installation on an Android Google platform. It didn't work. Spent many hours trying to make it work, it's just a camera. Should be pretty easy. Target was great. Refunded product.

Initially it worked to store the clips with trial subscription but then the features stopped working and asking me to buy the subscription plan (highest plus plan to cover more than 1 devices). So basically this device needs full subscription then only it will work. The advertising is misleading, rather worth to buy some other brands with similar subscription plan rather than this hidden things.

Better cameras out there, this not it
I bought this camera to put at my door and wanted something at a reasonable price. This is a different brand than two other cameras that I have and enjoy. There are three main pain points: 1-the notification comes through to my phone EXTREMELY delayed and most of the time, is after the person has left the viewable area (my other brand cameras notify me almost instantly, as in if I open the app when the notification occurs, the apartment complex’s employee is still in the process of entering the door to my unit) 2-during the free trial when it would save the recordings, they were not long enough to record what occurred and started well after the movement started (this camera usually only saved a 5 second clip, MAYBE 10 seconds, other brand averages 30-60 seconds) 3-this requires a subscription to have saved clips after the trial. The description said it had micro SD card capability. What it didn’t say was that it was with a different sync module model. One of my other brand cameras saves to the cloud for 30 days and has downloadable capability (so if I need to keep the clip, I download it right away). The other one has an SD card slot in the camera. 4-when I changed the batteries, the screw to access the battery compartment is underneath the swivel mount that is clipped on by inserting it on top of the screw. One of the clips holding the mount to the camera broke when I removed it to access the battery compartment. It reattached but I need to hold both the base and the camera when adjusting the camera angle or the camera will detach from the mount. I would not recommend at all save to pull up the camera to monitor as something occurs/is heard from inside your home (and even then you probably will miss whatever is outside). And if you use it for this purpose, definitely buy it when it is extremely on sale. This is barely worth the sale price I paid for the camera.
