I happen to see this product at grocery outlet stores and decided to buy it. It was the best purchase I ever made. A real game changer. This bread flour beats King Arthur Bread Flour hands down. As a bread baker I could swear the dough was just perfect. Easy to shape my Ciabatta bread. Love love love. Cannot wait to use for my French Baguettes.

Although this is labeled as 'bread flour' I've found that it does not work for sourdough. I've tried the recipe/directions on this site: FAIL. It should be noted that this isn't my first 'sourdough' rodeo. I've tried two other recipes using this flour that I usually follow with another bread flower: FAIL. Not sure why, but all three times ended up with gloppy, wet dough. To also be noted, I use a kitchen scale and weigh all ingredients. This may work with yeasted bread recipes, but if you prefer sourdough, this probably is not the flour to use.

Although I have little baking of late to brag about, from the past BAM has always come through, and many of my breads and pastries have come out wonderfully and have been praised a time or more for the wonderful presentations, and I must say that it was do to Bob's Red Mill flours!! PS, on a side note (if you have bug problems) Bob's Red Mill bags do a wonderful job at keeping them out!

Wow!!! First time making bread and OMG?? SO EASY and the taste its amazing!!! It was easy ti put everything in a bowl and don't knead it. After waiting the 12hrs the dogh was sticky, I didnt know if was doing it well. YOUTUBE was my teacher! I got the bag of Bob's Red Mill artisan bread on Wednesday July 17th and today is Sunday July 21 and so far I've made 4. DELICIOUS!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Definitely buying it again!

In that time the flour I used was a competitive brand to Bob's and I generally have to say I was well please with the results. however, for personal reasons I decided to try Bob's recently, and MAN ALIVE is this wonderful flour!!! The other flour had stopped really rising that well and reacting that well for whatever reason. I changed the yeast, the water, even the starter and nothing worked. But Bob's Red Mill just took one application into the starter and one loaf to convince me that I have found the best flour for MY needs. Thanks you guys!

This is the best flour for sourdough bread! I can 100% tell the difference between regular and this flour, it makes a world of difference. This is one of the loaves from this week. Still learning what cuts work best for me.

This flour produces a light soft silky dough when used in a spiral mixer. It outperforms the Italian 00 flours by a good margin. The crust, crumb, and taste are superior in every way. Bob's Red Mill Artisan is in a class by itself.
